yeah i was pretty angry.. but the car was in my name and my mum's name and since she is a gold member with nrma, the excess was only $450 and didnt affect the no-claim bonus.. so thought less hassel to just pay that But its just so stupid that there are drivers out there who cant avoid hitting a parked car!!! Where the hell do these people get their licenses from? It should be 5 demerit points for hitting a parked car

In my old car (lancer) i was going to a dentist in Lane Cove and parked my car in their car park.. when i came back to my car, the whole entire driver side of the car was dented and scratched. I almostt cryed. I was determined to find who did it and walked round the car park looking at all the cars. I found a car parked just outside of the carpark which had dents and scratches and all my nice white paint all over thier front left hand bumper.. it was clearly the car that side swiped mine. Went to the cops etc and left a note for the driver under their windscreen wiper telling them i knew they ran into my car and to contact me or the police. An elderly woman rang back that night saying she did park in the parking lot but then reversed out cos she was parked too close to the other vehicles (obviously while she reversed out she side swiped my car). So anyways she denied hitting my car (probably too deaf and blind to notice) and the police didnt want to do any further investigating so i had to pay for it well i had to pay for the excess.. So now i am too scared to park my skyline anywhere

I was in Bondi a few Saturday nights ago and i parked in the carpark that is at the bottom of the rd that goes up to the lookout.. A parking inspector car came past and the men politely told me that it was a no-stopping zone and that they write down everyone's number plates and send $175 fines in the mail. They told me that if i moved my car straight away they wouldnt fine me.. so of course i moved it.. but they fined everyone else there.. I believe that all the carparks in Bondi are no-stopping zones after 10, but i think they need better signs!
