  1. Hi, Count me in. Please order me a Power Fc and commander to suit an R32 GTR Thanks
  2. I went to Oakleigh Mechanical Repairs recently. There prices are very good. Lots of Skyline and Silvia stuff. Do yourself a favour, check this place out, AAA+++. Go see Paul, tell him Peter sent you. He will look after you. Cheaper than ebay for sure!
  3. Just received my set of Bilsteins today. Great value at this price! These units retail for almost $1400 without extra grooves or revalving. SK you've done well, thanks for your efforts. Cmon guys, if you've been thinking about fixing the handling of your GTR, don't pass this opotunity, support the group buy and make your R corner like it's on rails.
  4. Anyone? A garage in Melbourne told me you must fit both restrictors in to drop the boost. It's news to me, I thought there was only one olive. But I have two in the bag so it must go somewhere? I wonder how may people have only removed / installed one?
  5. Hi, interesting post great information. I have a few questions I would like answers though. My gtr had the restrictor olives removed before I purchased the car. I was given the two olives in a bag. I know one goes in the hose with the yellow stripe near the boost control solenoide, where does the other go? Why have people said you can't fit the olives back in and to purchase another hose? I'm sure it will be tight but if you're careful and use say, a dril bit or something to make sure the hole in the olive is clear and does not go in sideways and block the pipe, should be ok. I haven't tried it yet, just a thought. I'm thinking of reducing the boost as I noticed there was some boost creap on a recent dyno run. With the information I've read in these posts, I will be checking the condition of the wastegate actuator control lines for leaks etc. Maybe one of the actuators or wastegates is being restricted and therefore the turbos are making more boost than 1 bar. I'm running standard ceramic turbos! Thanks guys
  6. No, PM sent
  7. No big deal. If you have the parts just work out how much you want including postage and we can go from there. If they are still on your car and you want my Apexi bov's then it gets tricky. My car is a daily driver so I don't want it off the road for long. If your car is a weekend warrior, send me yours and I can express post my Bov's back. Should only take an hour or so to swap them over. I've removed the front bar a few times now and it's a 20 minute job.
  8. I'm in Melbourne, south eastern suburbs.
  9. Hi, Looking for a pair of r32 gtr blow off valves. I currently have a pair of Apexi twin chamber (vent to air) units fitted. Will concider a trade. Need Y return pipe also. If anyone is concidering replacing there standard bov's for that Pshssss sound, let me know as I can supply the Apexi items complete with return pipe end cap.
  10. Rail is not that damaged to justify unpicking the spot welds and MIG welding a new section. It's been pushed in but is still structurely sound. It's more asthetic if anything but maybe a roadwoarthy issue if an inspector was picky. I want it fixed but don't want it to look like the car has been in an accident or anything. I'm always wery when I look under a car and there's a thick layer of sound deadner over chassis components and the floorpan. You know something has hapened to the car. My car has never been involved in an accident except for minor panel damage to the front guards.
  11. Not cutting the rail, no way. One panel beater sugested to cut the floor and push it out that way. These guys are crazy. Rail will be straightened up and a metal plate welded on both rails where a hoist or jack would normally be placed. Rail will be stronger and avoid any future damage.
  12. Thanks guys for your help. After contacting a number of panel shops, I have booked my car into a chassis / suspension engineering place. I spoke to one panel beater who sends some of the cars they get, there to fix this type of problem. Also cheaper than panel beaters were quoting ($1000 plus!) Unreal!
  13. Sorry mate, but I have been investigating the whiteline products lately and saw the error with the part numbers. Thought others may pick it up also, so figured I should confirm.
  14. Hey, out of curiosity, I just weighed a Nissan R33 gtr factory wheel I have. It weighs around 9.5Kg, and that's a 17 x 9 inch forged wheel. If a pressure cast rim is only 6.5Kg then it must be very thin or weigh more than advertised.
  15. Just what I was waiting for. Great work Sydneykid Please confirm part numbers for caster kit and front springs. Whiteline website states KCA332 as caster kit part number not KCA331. Front springs are listed as 83157 Thanks
  16. That's great. I was quoted $400 and the car off the road for 3 days! Let me know if you find the info.
  17. Thanks for the info. The rail is not bad enough to look at replacing it, but good info thanks.
  18. Help, my chassis rail on my gtr was damaged by a garage using a troley jack behind the left front wheel. The rail has been pushed in quite badly. I went to a suspension engineering mob who think the best way to fix it is to cut / split the rail open and straighten it up! Sounds very extreme to me. Has anyone tried to fix bent rails and can recomend a repair place in Melbourne? I thought maybe to fabricate a U channel to fit over the area (on both sides) and provide extra streigth and avoid future damage when the car is placed on a hoist or jack. The right rail has some damage also from the car being jacked / hoisted up in the past. The rails are made of very thin steel. They sure don't make cars like they used to. Can anyone help?
  19. Hi, I'm interested. I would like to fit one to a R32 gtr. Please contact me Thanks
