Exactly the same here, 23 too. This year will just be having fun and getting experience, then when money isn't so hard to come by I'll field a much more competitive car!

595RS are on the list of tyres you can't use on the website. "All vehicles entering the Superlap Clubsprint Series must run on S compound tyres. Tyres that are exempt from Clubsprint class are show on the Superlap Australia Tyre List. Click Here for the Superlap Australia Tyre List. Tyres which are also exempt from Clubsprint Class that are not shown on this list are Hoosier A6, Hoosier R6, Kumho Ecsta V710 and Avon Tech R-A."

I'm in one way or another! Would a GTR with all it's front drive line components removed be eligible to run in the RWD clubsprint class?

Nah not bad at all Ah long story that one, but basically I'm in the same position, considering going to a 180 / S13 / MX5. The GTR is proving to be too expensive for me to have any chance of getting it up to scratch to be competitive again!

The car is in mint condition, quite possibly the cleanest R33 GTR driving around at the moment. Has it? Federal 595s are on it! I was thinking a wheel alignment issue, because it's not running much / if any neg camber combined with factory springs / shocks that it was actually causing the outside wheel to roll over and run positive camber? Either way, coilovers will be in shortly and then it will be off to road and race for a wheel alignment. Also started stripping it today as well, race car here we come

Yeah it was a dissapointing night for me though. First time in the new car, first time on EC, but only got the first two sessions in and then the front drivers side tyre fell apart like nothing I've ever seen and I was forced to retire! Ran 2 mins flat in it though in those two sessions. It definitely highlighted the need for stiffer suspension as I was apparently hardly keeping the inside wheels on the ground while I was cornering.

Yeah demolished one wall and got stopped by the second. He hit pit wall right at pit exit (flag booth) first. Lift-off oversteer from what I saw, it looked sideways at the 100 metre mark! Painful painful, the guy was ok though I think, I'm sure I saw him standing next to the car later while it was on the tow truck. An R32 Golf met its maker too, over cooked and slid off turn 1. So much carnage.

I don't think it will be too bad, especially since it's not full up yet. Circuit Club days are usually pretty good, there is a lot of fast drivers in the club so you don't get held up that much.

1:20 isn't bad at all for a first time effort in pouring rain. I was hoping you'd get a dry run though, to see how you'd go against my time EVO hit a wall? how on earth did that happen? Was it the main straight wall or did he spear off somewhere up the back?

It sounds to me like you might have some water in your fuel, my motorbike used to behave the same way when it got water in it. Try adding some metho to your tank (most effective/cheap but I doubt it's the best thing in the world for your engine) or try some of that petrol treatment / cleaner, most service stations have it. Have you checked / cleaned or changed the spark plugs?

Also watching intensely... that will give me a few months to get the GTR up to pace. Will a CAMs L2S licence be sufficient? Or even needed? I'm debating whether to renew mine. -
It's more than possible that it is the same car, was the bar in primer? The guy who bought it lived in Mt Druit though so it wouldn't exactly be local. Now I have a GTR!

Chromies? WTF are you serious? It doesn't sound like my old one though, the rego is wrong, unless he changed the plates too. The GTST was sold about a month ago.
