  1. Who here runs brake air ducting onto the rear brakes of an R33 (GTST in my case)? My question is mainly how have you done it and where have you sourced the air from? My last trackday was ended early by my rear passenger side caliper falling apart due to excessive heat, so I need to run some sort of ducting to try to cool them down. I have 400R side skirts (from Jetspeed) on my car, with holes just behind the door. Now I assume this is for brake ducting but does anyone know for sure whether air flows into these? (Not around? They are Jetspeed knock-offs) If air does flow into there, I guess that would be the best place to run it from because the air is going to still be cool and not carrying heat from the engine. (Alternative being running ducts from under the car, which I assume would grab a lot of heat off the bottom of the engine / exhaust). Attached is a picture of the car + side skirts for reference
  2. First post updated, parts still for sale.
  3. Yeah fair enough, I thought it was worth mentioning though as that car is part of the recommendation and the owner of that car hasn't had a good run with them.
  4. Then you should also know that the Supra should have been completed 6 months ago, that they have stuffed him around consistently, and that there has recently been a stop work order put on it by the Department of Fair Trading because of a complaint made by the owner himself about the quality of the work. I would have thought this would have been worth mentioning?

  8. Considering swap offers at the moment. I wouldn't mind swapping for a hachi (+ cash my way) if it had the right mods. A cage would help things along nicely... Price is very negotiable if your a serious buyer / looking to swap
  9. Still has a long way to come yet, but it's getting there:
  10. RS73, How much for the front rotors and rear rotors, both slotted? For a 95 R33 GTST! Thanks mate!
  11. Yes I got my car impounded years ago for that, at no point in time did I go over the speed limit, it was from a set of lights in a 90 zone, went flat out to 90, stopped there.. next thing you know there was a tow truck taking my car away.
  12. I've got a road registered 650cc Dirt Bike, only ever ride it in and out of Sydney these days. Used to ride around a lot, peak hour commuting for a couple of years, but decided I didn't want to die on a motorbike because of someone else's mistake. In a Skyline by my own mistake would be much more fun.
  13. If it happened in the Police Impound I hate to tell you tell you but I think your probably screwed. I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago, the car went to impound, even had photo's of it with the stereo in the car taken as they were putting it on the back of the tow truck. When I collected the car from the impound it was less $1000 of stereo equipment, Subs, Amp, Head unit, the whole lot. Insurance told me to get bent as well, because it was the Police Impound lot and had nothing to do with them. I kicked up a huge commotion, got absolutely nowhere, ended up giving up in the end (it was going to cost more to go to court). What gets me is that the cop who took the report just sort of rolled his eyes and said "oh yeah, it happens all the time at the impound..".
  14. trust me mate, I want to sell it working, I'm just struggling to be able to get around without a licence at the moment. But fingers crossed, I will have the caliper and be able to fix it on Saturday, then it can be test driven.
  15. Cabin Interior has been put back together completely. Brake caliper should be obtained and on the car this Saturday.
  16. Price Drop Will sell the car for $16,000 as is (it needs a new brake caliper quoted at $185 from Just Jap, and the interior is stripped out (but included in the sale)) or $17,000 if I put everything back together (get a new caliper, and put the interior back together).
  17. PMs Replied, Coil-overs aren't height adjustable.
  18. Price drop $17,500 Car will no longer be sold with above track day. Loads of spare parts to go with the car as well.
  19. An unexpected bill has come up, I'm not going to make this one anymore.
  20. Coil-overs reduced - $250 or make an offer. Unexpected bill came up.
  21. There will be another demo of what the car can do at Eastern Creek on the 4th August. If it is sold by then the price will include the track day, I will be happy to come out with the new owner and give some feedback / instruction on where the limits of the car are and what it can do. Make me a genuine offer if your interested, all offers will be considered.
  22. Picture and Specs have been updated, more parts fitted, price returned to original asking price.
