Here's a copy of the details for the cruise. More info can be found at www.BTICC.com First offical cruise for the year is going to Halls Gap via the Western Highway. WHEN:- Sunday 19th March 2006. Meet at 10am in Ballarat @ Victoria Park service Rd on Sturt street. (Near Lake Wendouree) Depart around 10:30am. A meet up with any country boys/girls at the foot of the grampians/halls gap we will then depart at about 12.30 and smash some boost on windy roads up to zumsteins for lunch and photo's Then moving on to wartook reservoir for more photo's then back down the mountain to halls gap for afternoon tea more photo's before heading off home. ANYONE AND EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

nope, just 2 different hand controllers for them different version of the 2 yeah, but if you have a power fc on a skyline then one of these 2 will work.

yeah thanks anyways, at least i know ppl are lookin to help if they can! lol thought since i got my hands on a r33 one that it would be all good, only to find out that FCC3 doesn't work and FCC NT will work!! DAMN IT!! I'm pretty sure that wrx ones are all FCC NT handsets prior to 2001 models too. And some sr20 ones and some R32 GTR models are compatible. Basically from what i've read if it has FCC NT on the back of handset it "should" work! Cheers, and thanks again

Hi guys/gals, I have been told that my power fc may have re-initialised and needs the boost control mode "disabled". Unfortunately i do not have a hand controller. The even worse problem is that the car is supposed to be in a wedding next weekend!!!! I have tried buying one, but not only is it $500 odd bucks i dont have, but they couldn't get it here in time. I am willing to travel to melbourne or bendigo or really anywhere within an hour or so from Ballarat, if you were willing to meet halfway i'd be willing to pop $50 odd bucks in ya pocket for the hassle. I would only need it for 15-30 minutes tops so you could wait while i used it, (to ensure i dont take it, cant be too trustworthy these days). I have borrowed ones before and now belive the one i'm after is for PFC RB25 version of power fc. There are in fact 2 versions of the power fc for r33's! The other is the ECR33 one. On the back of the hand controller it should have FCC NT somewhere on it, if it does, this is the one i need. I already have access to the other skyline one which has FCC3 on the back....This one does not work with my ecu. My mobile number is 0408532977, my email is [email protected]. i have tried looking into all of that, what i've found is this, which is just what "i think may be right". That for r33 skylines there are in fact 2 power fc's around for them, one is serial ECR33 XXXXXX and the other is RB25 XXXXXX, the ecr33 one uses the hand controller FCC3 XXXXXXX and it looks like the RB25 (my one) uses a controller FCC NT XXXXXX I cannot see anything on the controllers or power fc units stating numbers anywhere near 414 N001 or X001. Mine says PFC RB25 -9705 - 0013 on the unit and the hand controller says FCC3-020-10512 Man, im glad you've got the brains to figure out this stuff!! That bloody FAQ you've done is a credit to ya and it would have taken a LONG LONG time to get to the stage its at!! -

Ok, got regualtor fixed, reco'd the alternator only to read your post about fuse, and guess what.... you were DEAD RIGHT!!!! Replaced fuse, all is good, still have the engine problem though. Seems ok under load, off load (ie: cruising at set speeds) it misses and farts at a certain interval, like every 3 seconds, it farts for 1 second, then fine for 3 seconds, then farts for a second and so forth. Finally got hold of a hand controller thats for an r33, and ......NOTHING! Apexi logo hangs, but i did find that if i hold up button whilst turning ignition key on it goes to a screen that just says "FN" ???? Think i may have fried some or all of the power fc? Googled the shit outta "power fc FN" etc only to come up with didly squat...nothin!!!! Help me please!! lol So far you've been spot on the money! If need be i'll express post it to you and you may be able to fix it!! lol, the problem i have is its supposed to be in a wedding march 18th!!!! not looking too good!! -

and unfortunately i cant do much with it as i dont have a commander for this. There are 2 types of hand controllers and it seems i can only get my hand on the wrong one!! thats why the apexi logo hangs. Also found out that a couple of people who have had to jump start or had dead flat batteries with power fc's have lost their maps in the process.... I fear that this will be my fate too. Flat broke so if that is the case the ol 33 wont be on the road for quite some time!! lol Getting alternator back tonight from a reco (needed it bad!!) so will put that back on and let you know what she's up to from there!! -

heres one for ya, my battery went dead flat and car sat there for 2 weeks, i jump started the car from a charger/starter pack and now engine light is always on and car stutters while cruising every couple of seconds. We went to a local tunig shop and they had a customers car with brand new power fc and we used that commander as i dont have one for mine. It plugged in and just came up with the apexi logo and thats all it would do. Are the commanders only suited to that specific ecu of should it have worked? Also any ideas on wether something has been reset or blown due to the flat battery then jump start? driving hard it seems to run fine with no stuttering but its when you sit on a constant cruising speed and also does it worse under less load. also after working on it tonight the voltage off the battery is at 14.8-15.5 volts whilst running and the battery light is now on!! Bet ya this stumps ya!! lol -

Hey guys, anyone have any ideas on this problem? Had a flat battery the other day, so i jumped it from a charger/starter pack. Started up no probs. Keeps going flat but alternator seems to be working fine as its puttin out 14.1 volts. If i leave the alarm off the battery seems to hold charge ok. Next problem is that since i jumped it the engine warning light is constantly on. Blinks and flashes every now and then but always remains on. Car seemed to drive fine but i just went for a good drive in it and noticed its "surging" really bad. If i cruise doin low revs (between 1000-4000rpm) it sorta revs fine then a couple of seconds later it coughs a bit and feels retarded in some way, then a second later its fine again, just does this constantly while cruising. Seems to go fine when flooring it though. Its not a stock computer either, its running a power fc. Im stumped really. Im not sure if the two problems are related or completely seperate. Im thinking maybe i've shorted something out or done something to the power fc by jumping it? Any ideas/help pointers would be more than welcome as i'm struggling to find a workshop thats not snowed under for weeks!!

Hey guys, i went to start my pig the other day and the damn battery was flat. I didn't leave anything on and i hadn't started it for 2 weeks, but i have left it for a week or so without starting on other occasions. Anyways, i have one of those battery chargers/engine starters so i connected it all up properly to the fuse box jumper part under bonnet, charged it for 10 mins then set it to start and away she went. No problems at all! Took her for a spin for bout 5 mins and the whole time the orange engine warning light was on. It flickered and flashed every now and then when i gave it a bit but mainly just stayed on. I have checked as many wires as i can find which all seem good. i drove home, turned the car off, then re-started it and it kicked over no problems? Any ideas? Should i not drive it or what? its running a power fc too if that makes any difference! lol

yesh i suppose, its been over and under by a few reputable mechanics and they reckon the whole car has been looked after perfectly as there's not even signs of minor crashes or blown parts or anything. Most people who know the car or who have worked on it also say it must have forgies cause who would fork out that much on mods and not do internals. I am just not going to list it as a "forged internal" car due to no proof to back my claim up. And yeah it hammers real hard with the mods, might not be quickest down quarter mile, but i'd petty much have a crack at most cars around on the track. Cornering and braking are like nothing i've ever felt before. I've been in evo's, sti's and gtr's and none of these compare to the cornering of this! And they are all 4wd!! -
