Im located in canberra, i have an rb20e skyline - wasnt planning on anything just curious as to how people go about re-mapping stock ecus (like they can do to hondas). Though if i turbo'd the engine before upgrading i was just curious to see what i could possibly use to tune it, so far i was thinking ecu remap, or e-manage but i dont know if they offer a harness that would adapt to the rb20e. Nope the car your thinking of its Goo's old car, Now a guy called Rohan owns that. Thats a civic coupe vti. My brothers is a civic coupe vti-r. Both silver though His car is off syndicate, and its the project there in readers riders that just got turbo'd if thats what your thinking of? My brother and father did all the work on it... he baught the car completly stock :lol: Did you know it was turbo'd? With replacing your injectors with larger ones, what do you plan to use to tune them? Does anybody know if you can get your stock ecu remapped - and if their is any downloadable 'tuning' programs you can use with the skylines? I know honda you can tune the ecu yourself with hondata. or urberdata... Dayne

Yeah, im interested to know as well - my brother just turbo'd his honda civic vti-r and it was a very fun/interesting to watch. I wouldnt mind turbo'ing my car, shit engine - could probably get away with it reasonably cheap.. then if it blows i'll just put a stock one back in place. Dayne

Well i havent seen it doing any formals? and ive been to most, Bono has done the eddies formal and the dara formal. His car is sitting on chrome rims, and its a fairly unique colour. But obviously there are two cars... but as im saying, his is definetly the one thats been at a fair few formals. Not saying the other one hasnt though either. On, and on that FATGTS-R most places do have a maximum weight of 25kg, but if you read the fine print they also have a maximum length, width, and depth in the fine print. Most places are no more then .5 long, and .3 wide (which front bars exceed easy). Dayne

No way, i rang around heaps of places to get a front bar shipped, and the cheapest i could get from canberra to melb was $127 for a front bar... and thats only because he made a mistake and had to wear it. I got side skirts sent from sydney to canberra and most places wanted $120 as well, though r0ma found a place for $55 i think he ended up paying. To give you another idea, i just posted a front bar to perth using bus freight, and it ended up being $200 in total.. + packing (lots of bubble wrap + cardboard). I think $250 is fine for a front bar and side skirts, specially over that distance. Dayne

im looking for a sr20det engine ecu & loom, or all the parts needed in order to convert my sr20de engine to a turbo, (ie: all piping, turbo, intercooler etc..) Dayne

Just put my car back together, and find a massive rip on my once immaculate drivers side door trim:( Really pisses me off as it ruins the smootheness of the interior. So im after the drivers side door skin, and i also need the drivers side control pannel (windows up + down + door lock + window lock) and the harness with the wires on the bottom (10cm odd long). To suit a r33 skyline coupe. Cheers Dayne

Oh, i forgot you asked about quality too, the amps in them are no good!! I would NOT use them to amp my speakers, i used it for temp (1 week) then upgraded to a schnider amp. Dayne

Superrace69 - Check the fuses located next to the battery in the boot, my high beam worked but low beam didnt (in the left light) and i changed a blown fuse and walla - it works:) Dayne

Waste of time unless you've completly done up the car and love it in other aspects, your looking at brake upgrades, auto electrician to re-wire your car, new ecu, as far as im aware engine will drop straight in though. Then you have 2 cut inside the engine bay for the intercooler piping, and at the end of it would probably cost around $4000 with brake upgrade, then $660 for engineering (the RTA said it HAD to be done) so there you go.
