  9. Thanks mate, found that out yesterday though i would need hicas steering arms, and a hicas lock bar.. to much trouble i think. Will just go sr20det diff i think insted. Appreciate your help! Dayne
  10. Are all cars welcome... will ask my bro if he wants to put his turbo vti-r civic on the dyno... Dayne
  11. Hmm sometimes, they can never garantee it though, best bet is to get it painted professionally then they are responsible for the blending/matching of the paint... Dayne
  12. No-body knows huh? Guess i'll just have to have a chat to the importers tomorrow Dayne
  13. Hey guys, I blew my diff in my non-turbo r33 skyline. Its a little smaller then the turbo diff, and it has different shafts. However, the turbo shafts look like they will fit, and the tail shaft will fit too, though the back of the diff wont, as one mount is 80mm appart (non turbo mounts) and the turbos are 120mm appart.. meaning that the turbo diff will not bolt onto my rear cradle (i think thats what they call it). Now this is easily fixed providing the rear ends can unbolt, and bolt back in, obviously swapping for the turbo item. I was looking at a 4 door r33 turbo on the weekend, and setup seemed very similar to mine. I've attached some pictures of the peice im talking about, if you turbo guys could let me know if yours looks about the same, would be appreciated. What bits im after are these (highlighted poorly because im crap at photoshop in yellow). From underneath http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a30/lo_r33/IMGP0322.jpg Close up of diff support. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a30/lo_r33/IMGP0319.jpg Closer driverside pic http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a30/lo_r33/IMGP0318.jpg NB: This entire peice is all one... Thanks for everyones input - posted in this section as ive had hardly any response in suspension section. Dayne

  15. I dont even know if my fuel light works... is there any way to check it? Everytime i fill up and its on E i only put in max 45-50 L's and the tank is apparently 65L's... is there anyway to check if my gauge is broken?? I would assume there is probably between 5-10l's in the tank once the lights on? Dayne
  16. I dont know about you guys, but my r33 gts non turbo out handles my mates club q's sr20de silvia in every single way... I had 4 people in my car, though im riding on kmac springs, pedders shocks and i dont have hicas and i absolutly flogged my mate who was driving his club q's sr20de s13 by himself through rounder bouts and every other turn we made. The r33 is a much nicer car to drive imo, and is like everyone else has said, much larger inside.. and an upgrade in many many other ways. Sure the s13 feels lighter in steering no doubt, but no way handles as good as the r33 on the road. And this is going from someone who has driving both cars to full potential in real life situations. Dayne
  17. Check your blue ply card inside your engine bay to be 100% sure unless your painting your entire car, there are that many varients of paint out there its not funny. Dayne
  18. Where can we buy redline oil from?? I've just been putting castrol oil in my gearbox/diff that a transmission specialist has been selling me.. Dayne
  19. i'll post a picture of it later... it looked heaps liek rh9 but again i heard that it was off the road, hmmm oh well we'll find out later whose it is. Dayne
  20. Bit hard to tell if they would fit by pictures, you actually need the code number and ring up king springs and ask what car theyre designed to fit... most likly if they arn't skyline they wont fit as they wont sit in the bottom and top of the strut properly. Mine are 3.75" lowered kmac's.... they are a much wire and thicker spring by the looks of it. Though bit hard to tell by the picture Dayne
  21. ahh alright, will just get like 2.5" or 3" then:) cheers mate Dayne
  22. They probably wont fit a skyline mate, unless they are specifically for your model dont bother. go order some king springs, or k macs like i did, and then i got pedders shocks to go with it. Do it right, do it once. Dayne
  23. Im interested, but where is a picture of it? what type of damage it is? and is it for the M spec bar? Dayne
  24. With the 4" cat converters, can you fit them on a non turbo... or will it be to big? Would the flange still be the same size to bolt up to the rest of the exhaust? Dayne
  25. My car had the same probably, though it didnt stall, but felt like it was going too... and i changed the fuel filter and its improved, though i think my spark plugs need chaning too. Havent really been able to see if its totally fixed the problem because after it happened i blew a diff so the cars been off the road since. Try the fuel filter, takes about 10minutes to remove, 10minutes to install and you can pick up one for $10-$15 at repco. Dayne
