if the 180sx was sr20det it would be quicker, street wise the 180sx can look just as good imo if it was a type x. interior is about the same... but it really depends. i would rather a r32 gtst over a ca18det 180sx, but not over a sr20det or type x 180sx.. depends which type your talking to mate? there are alot of variations... Well, being a japanese connection is f**ked from the start because you can only repair the larger one. The small one is far to small. Go to jaycar and tell them your arial cable has been cut and you need a joiner (this is a plastic connection which has metal components inside, it then screws together joining and seperating both parts inside the wire), this joiner will be male and will plug into a female terminal, then you get some extention leads and about $10 later you have a working arial. I did this to mine, and it worked.. however i never found out how to get the arial to actually wind up! Doesnt matter anyway:P i suggest you invest in some cd/dvd's and listen/watch them insted.. this is what i did and i found the quality to be 100x better. Hope this helps mate. Dayne

Spotted MY 180 yesterday, gave a wave and got one back:) Also spotted someone almost t boning me as she was speeding through a set of lights... i thought you were ment to drive slower in the rain not faster? Dayne

Dont put your car into neutral when coming to a set of traffic lights, use your handbreak even if your on the SLIGHTEST hill and there is any!! chance of rolling back. (even if you think you can handle it... do it anyway just to be safe) use push pull method of steering (you might already do this?) mirror check... ment to be every 5 seconds rear view? (check in the learning to drive book, they give you this when you get your L's...) Basically just drive with care, as you would no speeding etc, stop at stop signs.. all the basics, you should be fine. If you dont have the learn to drive book, i suggest you go get it... this is what they mark you off.. from memory there is 24 compitencies (sp) and the 23rd compitencie is the actual test.... Give this ago? and get one of your mates to mark it off as if he was your instructor... for things like reverse parking you get two attempts etc. Dayne

Yeah, best bet is to go to a painter and ask for figures, to give you an example i had front bar, bonnet, gaurd,grill, door, rear 1/4 painted and some dents taken out for $1350? But i know it costs around $400 just to paint the bumper bar if you get it done seperatly... Specially if they have to prep it, you might get a brand new one painted cheaper then you would say a second hand one that needs sanding back? Some painters demand that you get it sand blasted which they can do, or you can get it done yourself.. Dayne

Thats some interesting information, does anyone know why you cannot over take in the left hand lane? What happens if you jump into the left lane and you go 'faster' then the other person but not excessivly (as if you were just going the speed limit) and then jumped infront of them? is that illigal? Ive seen this happen many times before, but was never aware it was illigal to do so? Dayne

Yeah, it seems he has been all over canberra today, i couldnt get over how damn nice the car was... it had gold rims, gold badges, carbon here and there too, your right on about the car... and damnn i would hate to think how much that car could of possibly costed. LOL - nah i couldnt figure out which one you were until you left!
