f**k i hate hearing shit like this! i know exactually how you feel and god damnnn isnt it frustrating, specially wen you dont know who did it. I drove my car to school just after its respray (paint was still soft) had only been painted 2 days before. My mate goes over to my car to find egg all over it, baked on the roof and the door. The egg ate the paint and left horrible marks in it!! i wasn't impressed at all but least now i have a rough idea who did that, and whos touched my car on other occasions too! My mate recently got NOS ones and i absolutly HATE them, they only cover the seats 1/2. Another mate recently got playboy ones (not the best brand i know) but his cover front and rear of the seat and are a much tigher firmer fit... i'd rather get these despite the wanky playboy logo. Dayne

Probably not mate, i have a dumped car on 18's 235s (only 8 inches) and they JUST miss at the rear, so goodluck with your 10.5" rims at the rear. Also at the front, goodluck again, you cant even lower a skyline more then 2.75- 3" on the front with 235's and your 245's that you want will make it even harder. So, its do-able, you wont be able to drive the car at all though you'll literally have no steering. If your going to do it at all the maximum i suggest would be 235's all around on 3" lowered springs. Dayne

FYI the car handles better now then it did on pedders sports suspension before hand, not all skylines need coil overs, drift rims and massive gaps between the wheel and arch to handle good:) Dayne

i've seen gtst with superlows, no where near as low as mine, thats why i got them custom made:) Dayne

Well, superlows will drop the car enough to be able to tell, but their will still be a gap and i'd say a fairly big one at that all around the car.. My car is lowered 3.75" which is easily another 1.25" on what super lows are (thats minimum) and my rubber only 'just' sits in the car. Drop them in and let me know? Dayne

not a problem mate, the cars un driveable with the fronts in, so by the looks of it you cant really go more then 2.75" in the front. So for ideal setup, you'd want 3.75" at rear, and 2.75" at front. Dayne

You dont even need spring compressors, the super lows will be low enough that they'll only compress once the car is lowered off the jack. Here is a picture as i promised of my car, i just got it back. Dayne

I prefer a good looking car over a hell ugly car that goes quick.. just doesnt do it for me. (when can you use all the power these days anyway? not all of us have time to go 2 WSID etc) Saying that a skyline can look pretty good standard, depending on what model and what condition its in... But i would much rather a car that looks hell hot, and has a bit of bite to it. Dayne

**Jar*** im with you, it costs me around $50 to fill up from empty, but saying that i dont let my fuel light come on... its usually from a bit below 1/4. Again.. this is all its ever cost me (and ive had the car for a year)... but with fuel prices it may cost around $55 MAX. I get around 350k's per tank, but i give it a boot occasionally, and my car is running rich. Dayne

Yeah, but the cars engine mounts etc are perfect for a Rb20det... theyre exact same as what is there, it'll be drop in drop out.. plus i know the history off my car, where its been.. and more importantly i've got it how i want it... Dayne bump... anyone know the story with the looms?

Hey guys, I thought i would try here in the turbo section, I currently have an Rb20E R33 skyline, but i want to swap the engine to an Rb20det (no not a 25det so dont suggest it). I've made my mind up that this is the easier swap for the car, as its all bolt in bolt out... and i wouldnt have to engineer it or upgrade the brakes. However i have a problem... If they dont, how do i go about getting the loom to match whats on the ecu as i will be going from an rb20e ecu to an rb20det.. If it comes down to it and i cant just swap looms over and i need an auto electrician to rewire it would it cost much? and would it take them very long... more as less is this a big problem? Any help is appreciated. Dayne

Kn6 came in the R33's, my car is in that code.. not a very common colour... They call it storm cloud grey at some places, its a dark grey purple colour.. pretty nice:) Where can i get a book from with all the colours?? Dayne

I have a t3 turbo off an rb20det, and the earliest the internal waste gate opens at 12psi, and my brother needs it to open at 5psi for his vtir honda.. can this be done? if so can someone run through the steps of how to get it off.. etc etc??? Cheers Dayne
