Yup ^^ Total bullshit isnt it. I went back yesterday to get my turbo timer installed... its already wired, all they have to do is stuff around with the modual! Wanted $120 for it, what a rip off:) I'll deal with it myself for that price. Dayne

Mate, your getting RIPPED. As i said before. Walk away right now. Again with nath95... anyone can put a can of 'stop leak' in their car, or 'anti smoke' or 'lifter quieter' it'll fix it for the first few tanks of fuel.. then your gone! The cars dodgy now, whats that say about its life? Quick story about my old skyline... had a noisy box, so i rebuilt it then the clutch went... so i replaced it... was told it had hot spots on it (signs of abuse) then the diff went... my guess is it was used for wayyy to many burnouts. Walk away mate, thats a very expensive auto r33 which probably isnt even a series II. To give you an idea jump onto prestigemotorsport and see what theyre comming into the country at. Around 10-12g. You think his markup of 5g is acceptable for a car with problems??? Here in canberra a dealership has 23000 on a series II r33 GTST. Immaculate condition. Offered him 17000 and accepted the offer... if it was me i would be saying - dont worry about the problems or fixing it and i'll give you 13000-14000. Money talks when buying a car... you should be the one with the power, not him. Dont let him fcuk you around!! Dayne

No worries, I'm Eddies mate with the Red WRX. They were my floor mates, I would sell them but it would depend on the price. Theyre pretty expensive to buy specially if you want the genuine mats. Justjap are 'decent' to deal with.... sometimes its better to buy locally though if you didn't want to wait. Dayne

You didnt happen to have a silver gts-t do you? Try ebay - usually a set on there occasionally. Or the for-sale section on these forums. If worst comes to worst give justjap in sydney a call - they'll be able to get some for you. Dayne

Spotted a bodykitted silver R33 with a trojan sticker on the back, just comming onto yamba drive.... He seemed to slow down and gave a stare at my wrx as i turned off... Dayne

It would depend on what the a/f ratios looked like when you got it dynoed? I supose to tune a SAFC proper you will need to throw it back onto the dyno as well, i would just save if i was you and get your stock ecu flashed, or get a power fc like most others do. Dayne

They are awsome looking cars, probably one of the best 'new' cars out there in the range. I've liked mazda 6's for ages, and i thought it was really good how mazda have gone awd, and turbo-charged this time around! I dont see why you'd compare it to your r33 skyline... totally different class. I couldnt justify $58000 though for it, but in saying that i would never buy a new car. If it was my choice, i'd pick the new STi over that anyday! Dayne

$11,000 man, thats a very very cheap series II! IS it manual? Rb25? If it is, awsome pick up! Goodluck with the NA, I got one when i was 16, learnt to drive in it... sold it when i was 17 and got a wrx now:) Step by step i say, it was for the best i learnt on a NA as well, because in situations that now happen alot faster i know how to control:) Dayne

Thats so wrong. Here in canberra you can drive ANY CAR YOU WANT on your p's. My mate had a r32 GTR 3 years ago when they were hell expensive, and rare as fcuk! He was only 17 years of age, and he never had any problems with it? Again, its the attitude. Depends where you live too man, i suspect your in VIC because of the power/weight and then if thats the case, you cannot drive a GTR. Hey mate, One question? WHy is the airbag steering wheel missing? and why is the entire dash out of a series I? As far as im aware all series II's come with dual airbags? Dayne

On the street i would say thats a mid 14 second car... wouldnt say you would get 13's.... thats pretty amazing if you do. Dayne

Make sure your car is legal before you go over... the little mods like the fuel pump, coils, clutch dont make a difference. Specially make sure your numberplate is on.. because if you had that on chances are you wouldnt have to waste your time going over dickson. Generally speaking anyway. Goodluck. Dayne
