Hey guys just a quick one, I need to get rid of a king mattress + base (not so decent condition but sleepable) and a lazyboy style chair (comfy as hell but ripped cover from a few places) and a few other things ... whats the best way to do it without doing anything illegal. Would salvation army etc be interested in these things or do I need to find out a local tip or something and sort them out there? cbf selling anything and have to get rid of them asap! Cheers!

Hey guys, just a quick one ... I've recently put in an aluminium intake instead of the rubber stocker ... I didn't get any lines etc plumbed into it because I'm getting a catch can. Now with the stock BOV, the rubber hose that gets connected into the intake after the air filter ... is there any other place I can put it into or do i have to take the intake out and get a fitting welded onto it? cheers!

Hi guys, just after some advice on where I can get a turbo machined in the north (near coburg?). I got an address from my mech of a guy near the airport but I'm looking for someone close by so that I can get the work done ASAP and drive the car to the exhaust place etc. I have to get the hole in the exhaust housing (the one thats shut by the wastegate actuator) bored out to be made 30 mm from 20 mm. Would any engineering place be able to do it or am I after a specific kind of a turbo place? Thanks for the help!

no replies? everyones away for easter eh lol. Well ... I called Thread Doctor ... he came on a sunday, worked for around 1.5 hours to remove the 4 broken studs and took out the rest of the 8 and fitted the new studs I purchased and charged me 5x less then what I thought he would (he had to drive around 33 Km's to come to my place). Overall, a million votes to the thread doctor ... GREAT guy and VERY good at what he does. Now to get my oil line welded (new one's too short, I wanna retain the old oil return pipe) ... and bolt it all up and get the dump made. Cheers

Hey guys, just thought id get an opinion here ... I had wheel alignment done a few weeks ago. The steering wheel is dead straight when going in a straight line on a normal street ... as soon as i get on the freeway, the steering wheel is turned around 4 inches to the left (while going straight) at the 100 speed limit. Its kinda strange to me since it only happens on high speeds? Also, my HICAS light turns on after 20-30 mins of driving. any opinions? Cheers,

Guys just an update, I worked on the car for around 7 hours straight today and I've managed to get the turbo & manifold out (THANK F**K!!!!). Now the problems are, I've broken 4 more studs so now there's 6 studs sitting flush with the head (i.e. they're not sticking out of the head at all). I'm going to buy a drill and bits and ez out's tomorrow from Bunnings to see if I can solve that problem. Then its just a matter of blocking the water lines (the turbo is oil cooled only). Any advice on how i can block the water in / out ? do i just tighten the right size screws into the block? Also, I'll have to make a custom pipe from the turbo compressor to the cooler as the stock one won't fit (any idea who'd do this?). Also, if anyone is in the Pascoe Vale area ... I'll happily pay a bit + beer etc to come and give me a hand / company ... you should know what you're doing though lol. Cheers

yes it came with the turbo. This is what Tao (hypergear) uses with these turbo's. And are stock 32 gtst turbos ball bearing? Are you sure? So i guess i'll bolt it all up and then get it towed to an exhaust shop nearby thanks for the help guys! hopefully i don't have any more snapped bolts when im doing all this. This is why I'd love to do it in a workshop and pay them for their tools / support lol, anyone got one? p.s. Kudos to Tao for a very friendly / honest experience

Hi guys, I've got a new tr43 that I'll be putting in shortly into my rb20 r32 skyline. I'm everything myself so just wanted to know a couple of things. These are the parts i have ... tr43 turbo braided oil line manifold gasket and turbo gasket v band clamp for the dump bold to block the water lines safc II for the tune after the install (will be done on a dyno) Now the question is are there any other parts i'll need to get it up and running? I'm worried about what i need to do with the dump pipe, i've got an aftermarket exhaust till the dump as far as i can tell ... its around 3 inches till the dump. I probably won't be using the stock dump pipe yea? so i have to get the car towed somewhere to make up the dump or? anyone using it currently or some pics of install would be alot of help Cheers

hey ... I probably don't want to risk dropping bits back in the head ... so i'll leave it to the experts. I'm good with tools (going to install the turbo myself) but not that confident in stripping bolts out lol! I can even drive the car to see him so it shouldn't be a huge cost (hopefully) i'll call him tommorow, and call nissan to get the gaskets. Anyone here installed a tr43 on an r32 before? got a few questions i needed to ask thanks for all the help fellaz

thanks mate! I'm going to ring them up tommorow ... but any rough idea of how much it costs from them?

Hi guys, as the topic states ... I've got two studs stripped inside the head (off the exhaust manifold) ... they probably have to be drilled out im guessing, is there someone who can help off the forum (with payment off course) ? I have a new turbo waiting to go in, also what would the best place to buy exhaust manifold gasket and other gaskets be? Thanks for the help

hey guys, how much is it to replace a windscreen roughly (r32)? is it worth buying a used one and getting it swapped? Couple of neighborhood kids thought it would be a good idea to chuck rocks at my house (got 2 smashed house windows and my windscreen damaged and house mates Lexus has a few dents in it). They threw rocks for around 15 minutes, couldn't really see where they were coming from as it was too dangerous to go outside. Cops showed up after 20 minutes but i guess they ran off after that. Has to be one of the houses behind our street .. cant wait to figure out who it was Oh and also, if someone has a house for rent in south east anywhere ... ill take it. I've had enough of this northern suburb BS.
