  1. Hey guys for those of you who have done this conversion . My r32 4 door mspec needed a new gearbox. I've got an r34 manual box and I can't seem to get the box in the tunnel it hits the top of the tunnel. What's the trick? Or do I need to start bashing the tunnel? I stopped for the night but would like to have another go in the morning. Also I've installed an exedy hyper twin plate already to motor
  2. Looking for an r32 4 door roll cage let me know what u got!
  3. You wouldn't have any lag! Or very little will make power very quickly . My friend had a 4door r32 with a 25/30 with the old gt3076 .63 and used to fry any gear you put it in. So with a 26/30 and this being an .82 rear should be incredible

  10. So I picked this garret .82 up today for a green back. Should be installed by the end of the week.
  11. Yeah I have but at 390 I could almost buy brand new. Or I could just get a copy from kando and weld a vband to my exhaust.
  12. What he said, my turbo inlet is 4 inch. So I went to bunnings got a 100mm PVC pipe end cap and about 3 inches of 100 mm pipe. Glued them together wile I was there ^^" ... Then drilled a hole and epoxied an air line hose fitting in the end cap. It was a tight fit into the front silicone but it goes on... Used a hose clamp!!! Lol... Then set the reg on the compressor to like 5 psi first. Plug it in and u can hear leaks right away.No other blocking of anything
  13. Looks like I may have a.82 rear by Monday fingers crossed!
  14. Would have been perfect if it didn't have the wastegate pipe on it still looking guys!
  15. Yeah I'm definatly keen to try a bigger housing can't seem to find an aftermarket one with 4. Bolt rear housing only vband. No one is selling a used garret one
  16. Okay so bit of work got done today. All leaks are now fixed. The throttle body leaking nipple. And the plenums boost signal nipple fixed. Also the one intercooler pipes with 2 pin holes are fixed. Just replaced all injector seals and had them flow tested just for the shit of it.. re pressure tested. Found no more leaks in the system. I also ran a compression test with all plugs out and wide open throttle. 1 = 162 2 = 155 3 = 150 4 = 157 5 = 160 6 = 160 A lot better then what I though it was going to be the motors had a hard life. Motors is all back together and runs well. I'm still in the market for an .82 housing wich isn't easy to find ATM.
