My HKS GT2535 does the same on the RB20det with R32 actuator. It goes 11psi roughly and then creeps to around 15psi with no boost controller.
I thought the acuator was stuffed so tried a RB25det one. 7.5 psi and then creeps up around 12 or something LOL. The turbo is coming off soon so i might grind the f**k out on the waste gate area.
You would think HKS found and rectified this problem, c**ts they are.
Just un hook the actuator rod, easy fix. Just make sure you dont loose the little circlip, but if you do just use some fine wire to hold it on. If you cant take the rod off lossen to two 12mm bolts on the actuator rod bracket.
Id say the hi-flow is doing it. Base map is suited to the stock turbo. And anyways i would'nt be driving it hard with the base maps even on the stock turbo
I remember when i first installed the GTR injectors and had the PFC base map it was lumpy as hell. It was that rich i think it would of fouled the plugs if i let it idle that long
So yeah adding more fuel at the cell at idle would make it do that also.
Just had this prob with my sisters R32. It had low fluid so the brake/hand brake light came and stayed on. I topped up the brake fluid and the light was still on.
It was the float that got stuck LOL. Got out the screw driver and freed it, all good now.
I heard on the news that a 50 year old lady crashed and died last night, will we get blamed for that? I can feel another ACA "hoon special" coming up *rolls eyes*
I know there is road works on the fwy but f**k me
Farmer "FWY" it aint no fwy if it's 80 *has a fit* If a adult can not do 100kph on that fwy they have problems and should not have a license.
Im EMO now.
Im keen for a 3inch cat back and maybe a custom front pipe that mounts closer to the body. I will get in contact with you and discuss at at later date Kermit.
Jase
Stuff it im going to do it just to be different. Hope to have it done this year. I have seen a dyno gragh of a gt2535 on a 30det, boost drops off as it's a small turbo for a 3L. .64 ext housing What cams you guys think?
