Sif take head off to do valve springs.You can do it with a regulator and air compresser with a fitting in the spark plug hole. conan7772 you have a rb25det actuator on,put a rb20det one on as it will hold around 10.5psi/11psi with no boost controller.I fiddled with a rb20det and rb25det one on my car and boost comes on quicker with the rb20det one Silver top rb20det i ment

  5. Dont flame me but i've searched and cant find it.Ok i got the R32 rb25de head and i'm thinking i'll wack in the valve springs from my spare R32 rb20det motor.Will they fit? and should i keep the 25de cams in there or put in the 20det ones? Jase

I hope to join the 30det club soon.Should be picking up r32 rb25de head tomorrow and got a stock botton end to.I'm going to see how the current set up on the rb20det goes on it. I'll be keeping the hks gt2535 on it what do you guys think it will go like with it?run out of puff in the top end? Jase

  14. Ok cool.The thing is i have the money to spend on it but would rather not lol,house is more important! So thats why id like to use the r32 de head so i can use all most my parts bar some,eg turbo. I'm still thinking what i should do atm.
  15. Only way i can think of is make sure it's got a shifter so you can row thru the gears and still spin the input shaft. Not a 25det box i know but i bought a 20det box but did'nt test it with a shifter,i could'nt select a few gears and it locked it up.So yer thats all i can say.

Mmmm im leaning towards the dark side eg 30det I can get a R32 25de head and rb30e block quite easy and then use my pfc,gtr injectors,nismo fpr,z32 afm? or will it max out,25det gb.Then parts i would get is bigger turbo,stronger valve springs and thats it? how does that sound. Would be interesting to see how the hks gt2535 goes on it thou

  22. 14psi was ok on my mates 20,had it dynoed and it was just starting to lean out up top but was still safe.eg a few more psi and it would of leaned put

  24. Dude it sounds like you have a problem with your motor if your catch can was full and your loosing oil.Get a compression/leak down test.
