  1. Now I have the 25det box in I'll get mine tuned.I'm so hanging out to see what it does.
  2. A few other fun ways. Standstill - The ass end will start to go left or right Romping - Flooring it in the wet the ass end will kich left,well mine does. If it had a single shitter you will know coz it will always go straight unless you provoke it
  3. I went thru that water at around @1pm today and was only crawling thru traffic for like 4mins.Everybody was going single lane style closest to the wall.Funny to see but not for the peeps houses.
  4. You need the T-peice.It has a small hole in it which you need so when you bleed off the air to raise boost.That T-peice is also gated for faster spool up.I had major spike probs with my single stage!!
  5. GTR cores are tube and fin and HYBRID/HYBRID copies are bar and plate are'nt they? I'd go the GTR core as it has way thicker end tanks for heatsink.Thats all a cooler is on a sreet car isn't it,a heatsink?
  6. I thought the same.I did lots of things at once so I'll never know what did what.I went from a supra fmic to a GTR cooler with 2.5inch piping, exh manifold,040 and hks turbs.I just want power I'll keep you all posted on how the tune goes.

Yes both went on at the same time.I got the manifold for $500 I think so i thought stuff it, it has to unlock a few horses.25 box is going in next week then I'll get it tuned.If it does'nt make the goods I'll put the stock mani back on and get it tuned agian. When I drove it for the first time(with standard ecu,bosch 040 pump)I'm sure it pulled a little better off boost.Even with the tune it has now it blows black shit coz it's way to rich. I had a plenum leak and a pin hole in the cooler piping when it got tuned so that would'nt of helped it,fixed now.I'm hoping the next tune will make me happy.
  8. Someone i know had probs with big boost but was making low power with this manifold.He did some other stuff and put the stock mani back on with a external gate wich made more power.So yer not sure what was the power zapper,tune,mani or butterflies in the plenum(reb top RB20)
  9. I have one of those manifolds that Waldo has pictured. Dyno graph http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/r31power/251hp.jpg Not a full on tune but it has one.With the HKS GT2535 boost comes on hard @4000rpm.12psi is made @3500rpm in most gears.I have noticed that the exhaust note is very meaty.

  12. Check to see if the afm pipe has'nt popped off.A mate of mine did the same thing doing skids in a industrail area and that pipe popped off and did the same as to what your car is doing.

I had the same probs you have.The car came with crap 17 inch chromes on and they made steering really wobbly.When I got new tyres put on and went to pick them up the guy marked 2 of the rims front and the other 2 rear.2 of them had buckles so they went on the rear and it was alot nicer to drive.Before it was bullshit at speeds around 100+kph Now I have Volks on and they are a dream!!200+kph on a track with no wobbles. So maybe you have slight buckled rim/rims on the front maybe?

  15. Are you putting a RB20det into a Oz R31? Well if so i've done just that and it works fine. Yes the RB20 pump has 2 outlets(I think) and the RB30 1 For the RB30 pump to fit the RB20 block about 10mm of washers/spacer is needed between the block and bracket,the very top one.

  19. Excellent a reply it's showing 13.8volts at idle and the water temp is at 73degrees.It only revs up and down when the water temp is under 50degrees or so with the commander plugged in.Very strange.

Riddle me this.Cold morning,water temp hits 30degrees and the revs start to fall(as it should) but then goes back up?It will vary from 1000rpm right upto 1400rpm :bs!: then the good part I pull the commander plug from the ecu and it idles fine :Bang: Once the motor gets warmer it's fine but these cold mornings are giving it greif I know the commander should only be unplugged once the motor is off but cbf and this idle prob is killing me.It's not hunting coz the injector duty cycle is'nt going to 0.0% then back up,so what does this mean?? Also note my battery is in poor health,could that be a prob.
  21. Ok it's set at .46mv and it's fine *confused*the only things I have done is push the plug in the ecu more and unhooked the commander,but I done the above at the same time.It idles dam good to Moral of the story is to make sure the ecu plug is pushed in fully
  22. Hahahahahaha.Good results from that tiny turbo.Does the afm volts seem to not hit as high now with the tune?
  23. I fiddled more and it's still farked!! and I even tried another TPS.I put crc in the connectors just to make sure and it's still not loving it. Some times backing off it will be ok but other times it still pushes the car.I puller the cooler pipe off and looked in the T/B and it's spotless and not sticking.I'm running out of ideas guys.
