R31 POWER

I have a RB25det box and RB20det box side by side with shifters.The RB20 one fits the RB25 one fine except that little nylon bush at the end is way to small (read like half the size!) and is very sloppy.

I'm loving it Roy!!!! thats a big farking power figure.Hehehehehe how many days do you think the box will last

Hahaha I'm hanging out also Roy.4:11's will be in tomorrow and 25 box to follow.*Nods head* On my current tune the GT2535 starts to boogie just past 4000rpm.It's only on 12-13psi atm and thats enough to chirp the tyres as it comes onto boost in first with 255's.Roughly it makes 12psi at 3500rpm. At times it is alittle laggy,like if you plant it at a to lower rpm it might take abit to get going.My car is a daily driver and it's not a pig to drive.

I'd go the Z32 afm before you get it tuned.I was getting cuts up high with the 2535 so yer go the Z32 afm.

Thats a Greddy type s,I had one on my car.It is plumback.Here is a install with the guy saying with the small nipple connected "The smaller nipple on the cast aluminum body of the BOV may be spliced into the turbo outlet pipe or into the line between the turbo and wastgate actuator. Use the T-connector supplied. This connects to pressure even when the other line has vacuum. This will activate the BOV faster by applying pressure under the valve seat. I don't know what up with it Jeol,I did the loom install and we never cut the speed wire and the speedo wire is all connected to the ecu/dash.The speedo works in the R31 dash so yer who knows.

Do in this order 1.Bin RB20det box 2.Laugh at how small it is 3.Find RB25det box 4.Admire it's fatness and giggle like a school girl But seriously it will bolt to the RB20,use the RB20 flywheel/clutch,you need to mod the gearbox mount with some flat bar,use R33 slave,shifter and the yoke or vlt yoke.Speedo,if it's cable I hear a cut down?vlt sender could work

Not yet dude but i want it in and I got a 4.5kg moly flywheel to go in I also have 4:11's to replace the 3:89's in the diff so after they are in I want it tuned for good so i can play!!!!

Fiddle with the setting in the rev/idle screen.Write down what it has standard so you can always go back if need be. Here are my settings even thou it's a RB20det f/c - 1270 f/c - 910 idle - 870 idle - 800

I've installed a GFB Hybrid bov and instead of fluttereing like the greedy it actually vents air at low boost.So the jolting on low boost only happens alittle now.

I've got a R32 series 1 manual ecu for $100

Turbo off my R32 series 1 RB20 has 16V 5. Yer it's ball bearing,max HP would be about 230rwhp and max psi something like 14psi. Not sure how it would go compared to a S13 turbo but the S13 turbo has steel wheels compared to the ceramic exhaust wheel on the R32 turbo so you could run more boost with the S13 turbs.

If it is a R32(silver top) Rb20det then it will bolt straight up like a Rb20det turbo.It's best to get the RB25 elbow(intercooler bend)that comes off the comp housing as it's got a bigger internal hole.Also put the Rb20det acuator on the RB25 turbs for more boost.RB20/25 dumps are the same. You can still use the RB20det elbow on the RB25 turbo but you need to drill out the 3 blot holes.Also you can use the RB25 acuator but it holds lower boost,like 7psi or something.

I'm not a turbo expert but someone on here must be able to tell ya what turbo that is.All RB turbos have the same set up except the R31 GTS-R wich had a T3/T4 turbo from factory and it had a wastegate set up like the VLT and your's.
