  1. Last time 88e was this high it was cliff diving shortly after my initial purchase...
  2. Maintenance on my work car
  3. If I'm gonna do it, should probably get it done before eofy. Other thing to consider is warranty... Walkinshaw / harrop etc offer warranty, at a cost, haven't really looked into how it affects the manufacturer warranty if at all... But my mate recommended dynomotive or dpm, sounds like they offer more and better quality for less than walkinshaw etc...
  4. And there's a fair chance he gave his more stick than I do mine
  5. His ve was getting 13l/100km...my stock Vf2 gets 11.9L/100km
  6. Magnuson heartbeat 2.3L sounds familiar... I think that's what he said to get
  7. Mate with the aftermarket charged ve gts (which he just sold to replace with a brand new gts with W507 kit, all whilst unemployed)swears by Magnuson chargers (I think)... Side note, mine is the 6.2L..
  8. To supercharge or not to supercharge
  9. I shall give the totals to my accountant and let him decide. Gives me 4 weeks to spend some cash ?
  10. I am aware one can claim anything, the question was more about finding out how far 'maintenance' goes when claiming car stuff... Detailing / cleaning products etc?
  11. 'carry bulky tools or equipment'
  12. Hypothetically, can one claim things like exhaust, tune, supercharger kit etc as maintenance when doing their car expenses for tax purposes? Toby?
  13. I'd say there's a set of guidelines that say fridges should reasonably last x years while ovens should last Z years etc.. Worth a shot anyway
  14. Warranties are separate from your automatic consumer guarantees. The consumer guarantees which apply regardless of any warranties suppliers sell or give to you, apply for a reasonable time depending on the nature of the goods or services. This means consumer guarantees may continue to apply after the time period for the warranty has expired. https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees/warranties
  15. I'd expect an oven to last longer than 5 years. It's my mum's, I'll tell her to call the manufacturer..
  16. Who was it that posted that consumer law stuff about warranty not mattering, product working for a reasonable period of time etc... What would be a reasonable period of time on an oven (residential)
  17. Also if anyone has a receipt for said laptop, i'd sure like to see it..
  18. If anyone needs their msi gs60 laptop pulled apart 4-5 times for no reason, I'm now an expert.
  19. Who would have this raid 0 sorcery that could recover the data for me?
  20. It's got 2 x 128gb ssds and the 1TB sata ..just plugged the second ssd into the dock, it came up as E drive straight away but then followed by a 'disk needs to be formatted' message.. Opened disk management and it's showing more info than with the other one... Can anything be recovered from it?
  21. What are the chances that of the two ssds in the laptop, the one I put in the dock first was never used as the other one never reached capacity? Unlikely I'd imagine, but I only tried one of the 2 last night.. I'll try the second one tonight but I'm not expecting anything different..
  22. Excellent
