  1. im not sure if it can or not.. would have to ask about that. id love to have more power though haha mods at the moment are, front mount, pod, boost controler, cat back 3" exhaust, hi-flow turbo and now the AFC Neo. not a clue sorry, ive never used the older type one. all i know is that the AFC Neo is the latest one in the range. if you go to the apexi usa website, it'll show you about it there.
  2. haha, yes indeed a good suprise, very happy with it all. just not happy with the timing of the weather though, oh well
  3. recently got an Apexi AFC NEO from Aaron, and got it installed and tuned last thursday by hills motor sport. little did i know before hand that it turns out that the turbo i have is actually hi-flowed, so i ended up with some rather nice results. the first run is the lower line and each line further up is each power run as he was tuning the car. the final 2 higher ones are on higher boost, which it runs now.
  4. Bought an Apexi AFC NEO for a very good price and delivered on time. kept me informed the whole time. would buy again from Aaron

  5. sure about 4.5" exhaust? i know mine is 4.5 at the tip, but thats the tip. rest is 3 which is usual for after market. i agree about not getting a 4" inlet and out let, would be no point and cost you more. the rest of your piping is 2.5 so even if the converter from 4-2.5 was free, there would still be no gain from having it. would need all the piping to be 4" for there to be any chance of improvement, minimal at best. the ones from just jap are good, im running one at the moment. was a bit of a tight fit with my front bar, but its do-able and they do help on hot days, and making things a little smother. as for turbo lag, if there was any more than usual, cant notice it at all. spools fine no extra lag. just jap, way to go, but just keep in mind that if you are putting it in your self, the kit doesnt include the red pipe/tube and T piece pictured. so you'll need to buy a T piece and rubber tubing as well. goes from the boost controler to the inlet pipe btw.
  6. i was thinking, ah crap not another one, when i first read the topic, but glad to see that they didnt get far. at least you have somthing to start on and not left with nothing. glad you got it back
  7. *ranicx agrees with the sub-forum comment, then goes back into hiding
  8. i did stage 1 and 2 about a year and a half back, and they are well worth it! a lot of fun too. stage 2 is the better one though. all about understeer and oversteer. just a note, best not to wash your car before you go, it get covered in dirty water from all the sliding around in the skid pan
  9. haha, thanks guys, but after sorting a few things out, money wise, i wont be able to come up with the funds (stupid bills)..

  17. the easyest way to put a sticker on the back window straight, is to clean the back window, then spray the area that you are going to put it on with soapy water, so when you place the sticker on, you can still move it. then use a spunge to get all the bubles out and leave it to dry. when its dry, carefuly remove backing and there ya have it. one dead straight good looking sticker another great member and friend told me about that one and it works a treat... just give it alot of time to dry though or it wont stick
  18. we both go along that road in the morning to work, i somtimes see him when im running late lol
  19. that'd be me. thought i reconised the car, but couldnt put a name to it
  20. yay! finaly been spoted. i didnt know your car was back on the road already, sounds good though white r33 would have been me heading to work. silver r33 would have beem moanie
  21. couldnt spot a thing.. too much rain
  22. the box for the pod isnt a myth. its confirmed. ive seen it in a RTA car modifications book thing a friend had. but it does come down to each cop.. if they dont like you they may do you for it anyway. they aren't engineers remember, so what they say it legal and not legal tends to differ on the picky things
  23. haha, indeed, bargain! id go for it too if i had the money and that car
  24. what the? barsted. bending your number plate. stick it in the vice, should be ok
  25. im not too sure with all the laws (friend at work has "aquired" a full book of all the laws and owner aproved mods) but as the for the pod and the box. i had my car looked over and the pod was passed because it was enclosed by the box. it was the first thing i did when i got the car.. saves having alot of hassles later down the track.
