had a heavy duty full face organic clutch.. dont know the brand at all.

sorry i should have worded that better.. the clutch has worked, for the last 2 months. ill give the guy who supplyed and fitted it a call to see what he says, if he is not willing to do anything about it, ill give the department of fair trading a call to see where i stand

i got my clutch changed about 2 months ago, and while driving home tonight, the clutch pressure plate cracked when i put the clutch in. i limped home just and was able to get half way into the garage when it gave way totally. i had to push the car into the garage. the place i got the clutch changed at (who i wont mention atm) has since closed down. one of my friends thinks i should sue the guy is he doesnt agree to do somthing about it. should i? do i have a case? .. i really have no idea.. really need some help here. im totally screwed

200rwhp is pritty close to stock, so you wouldnt need anything more then a HD full face organic.. dont cost too much and will take the load easy. but reality, a stocker should be fine if you dont keep hard launching it every 2nd day.

recently i have been having a bad missfire when ever i hit boost over 6psi. i tryed getting new spark plugs and gaped to 0.8mm, no change.. taped up the coil packs to try and stop them from arking out on the engine, but no change. put a heap of tape all over the coil packs, but if anything it only changed and got a little better, but still had a bad missfire. but i found out of a mate, that there is another way to stop the coil packs from arking out and causeing a miss fire, apart from all of that and apart from using silicon, which can be realy messy. you can actualy paint pretty much all the coil pack with cheap clear nail polish. 1. pritty much its fairly simple, go to priceline or some cheap store, and buy the cheapest and gluggyest clear nail polish you can find, and get 2-3 bottles of it. i went through 1 and a half, but they where large. make sure it is only clear and not coloured as the coloured ones do somtimes contain metalic parts i think. 2. take your coil packs out and unscrew them from the mounting racks. ya can see the tape is still on them in the photo, but take it off and clean the stickyness left behind 3. to make sure that the nail polish bonds corectly with it, ya need to clean the coil packs fairly well with metho and a damp colth. use metho because it will evaporate. 4. then with the bush that came with the nail polish start brushing it on generously. but not so much that it runs off because it does need to dry still.. but also make sure that it has a desecent thickness to it as well. i covered pritty much all of the coil pack, from up at the plug, all over the main body, all the way down the rubber boot to the edges of where it fans out like a cone. 5. alow them to fully dry before putting it all back together.. last thing you want to do is be pulling it all apart again because ya scratched a bit of the nail polish off. at first i did not this this would work, but after trying everything else apart from buying new coil packs, i figured it was worth a shot, and it works.. havent had a miss fire since i did it. keep in mind, this is just a patch up job. it wont last for ever, and will need redoing every few months. hope this helps guys!

think i spoted Liz waving to me at hornsby yesterday arvo around 5:30 or so. i waved back, dont know if she saw me. also spoted a white gtst r33 with gtr wing, deap dish chromeys, and LED tail lights .. spoted on the pac highway in pymble around 5:20. didnt quite catch the plates.

i think the problem that you have described here is more to do with the seals on the clutch master cylinder. it may not be leaking, but it sounds like its not holding the pressure when you push the clutch in. im getting the same problem at the moment, and somtimes the clutch pedel doesnt come fully up have been quoted $260 to get it replaced

really?! theres another thread, haha.. cool. yeh i know how to put it in. i spent about an hour last night glueing my whole A/C unit back together because it was just falling apart for some reason .. got no idea why. has been like that since i got the car. thanks heaps, ill have a search around for it.

well i was having problems with the buttons on my AC controls unit, and when i took it out, the thing practicly started to crumble in my hand. the plastic was all brittle and and only 2 of the 8 or so screws in the entire thing actualy held onto something. it looked like someone had droped kicked the thing.. anyone else have the same problem? or has someone realt droped kicked my A/C lol anyway, getting to the point. there is 2 tiny globs in it that light up the buttons at night, and one of them has broken. they dont look like normal globs that you would be able to buy at repco or somthing. does anyone know about where i could find these? or if i could find them at repco? i realy need another one, its driving me nuts and its only been a few hours. i think if i cant find one, i might have to resort to retro fitting another globe, which i rather not do.

no no i think you miss understand me. i wasnt saying to make it a personal mission. i was saying to tell the police about it, and not just sit back and wait for someone else to do somthing about it which so many of us do. hell i do it too from time to time, im not saying im perfect
