  3. Wow! VERY INTERESTED! That's F&*#% awesome of you!!! Even though I own a Silvia (but a skyline fanboy too!) I would like to make a contribution/recommendation - In white, and I'll stick it on the quarter windows!
  4. The only thing I would like to suggest for Banner 1: Is to make the "A.C.T" part of it white rather than red as to make it a little more balanced and stand out. - Actually... Maybe not, as it makes it stand out too much.
  5. R32 RB26s have a back cam cover, the R33s and R34s have red ones
  6. Yes. Thanks LTSJayce. The problem with Brindabella Business Park is that it becomes Private Property at 10 PM. My recommendation is also Regatta Point.
  7. Thank you Michele, but I did read that along with Dragon_Silvia's comments. However I want to hear an answer from LTSJayce thanks.
  8. Hello, Are you able to provide examples of when and where the NissanSilvia 'crew' has recked it for you / SAU please? Thanks.
  9. Ahhh fark! I forgot this was on today!$# ..I wanted to come and watch!
  10. It's completely shit.. Although slight comic value from a couple of the drivers.
  11. Haven't been out for a while, so I'm going to make an effort to tonight!
  12. I see Bluprint parked out in the street right where I work in Civic.
  13. To clarify - To pass the noise test, it has to be less than 90 dB and NOT 3000 rpm as per below. www.ntc.gov.au/filemedia/Reports/NatStatExhaustNoiseTestSept2006.pdf
  14. If you are referring to the new Nissan GTR, then technically it is no longer a 'Skyline' as such, as to quote - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_GT-R
  15. Just pointing out.. All those photos were taken by Teon Harasymiv (http://www.flickr.com/photos/404notfound) who uses a Cannon 350D. Mark is using a Cannon 40D. Difference between the two camera's - http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_po...0d&show=all

  17. Ya I'll be there along with a WHOLE heap of others...
  18. Whoops... I'm actually a Silvia.. CeJay, perhaps remove me from the skylines list as I'm already on the silvia one...

  20. Hey CeJay! Inspired by this thread of yours, I put one up on NissanSilvia a little while ago here - http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=261653 The attendance is no where as many as listed here (yet), but was thinking, how about having the silvia's next the skylines on the day?
  21. Putting the money where my mouth is.. My 13 is currently booked in with Solartint in Phillip.
  22. Nah just wanted to mention it, as understandably it can leave a bad impression on someone and skew people's views without taking in the whole picture. I've heard a lot of negative comments about various bodywork places in Canberra from people and have seen the results for myself. But quite often, you don't tend to see the whole picture; realise what's actually going on and see it from the other side's perspective on the situation. By the way, here is the official NSW RTA article regarding window tint - www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi03_rev3.pdf
  23. No, not really having a dig at him at all. Just wanted to point out those factors to consider. At least I expressed that I've had no experience rather than giving a false impression that I have otherwise.
  24. I think you're forgetting he has another two windows more than you do. Besides, who have you been 'told' by? ..Don't forget there is a difference in the quality of the materials used as well. Otherwise, I've seen nothing but good recommendations for Solartint. I'll be getting my windows for my S13 done through Solartint, been quoted $290 all round for either ONYX or CHARCOOL film (60% heat rejection). Lifetime warranty (non-transferable) against bubble, peel or crack and 99% U.V. protection. They are all as dark as legal. (35% VLT) Also, advice regarding JRacing and NewGel.. Don't go there asking for price quotes and then argue with them and haggle the price down and still expect a perfect job. Either accept their prices or go elsewhere; reduce the price and you reduce their service and quality. Seen too many examples of people haggling the prices and then complain about getting an unsatisfactory job. One other thing to keep in mind, I have had no personal experience with any of this stuff yet.. I'm basing this off from the people I know and their experiences. Perhaps check out this thread too - http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=259529
  25. Okay, rather than saying stuff without backing it up, here is probably the best thing I can do.. www.rta.nsw.gov.au - VSI 09 - Guidelines for alternative wheels and tyres (Nov 2003) From - http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...si/vsi_dl1.html
