  1. I know a guy that calibrates BAC anylizers and he told me that if you drink 2 litres of water, for about 15 min afterwards you won't be over .05 no matter how drunk you are.... I thought it sounded like bullchit so I gave it ago on one of those pub BAC machines and it definitely works!! but its hard work drinking 2L in one go if you've already been on the juice! ps it works on the machines the Vic police have got not sure about other states
  2. I checked out race rego with VICROADS about six months ago and in Victoria any car that isn't 30 years old or more can only get race?rally reg on a race by race basis!! So basically everytime you want to drive the car you have to apply for temp rego for the race days only and supply the entry documentation etc! All the dodgy importers in Melb Fooked up the rally rego scheme about 5 years back by abusing it. In the end it was all too hard and I bought a trailer to carry my car around
  3. Yep, both cages are 6 point padded with plates and bolts and they are Black cage with black padding.

  11. At least you could stick some old worn knee sliders on to make it look a bit more convincing:D
  12. I'm after any wheels to suit a GTR r32 in 17x9 or 17x9.5, any wheels considered but not interested in any other sizes. Cheers Mick
  13. aybee: because as soon as you bag a workshop on this forum the moderators edit or delete it. I'm not having a go at the moderators but I don't understand why they are scared of small time operators like importers/compliancers/workshops but they are happy to have people slag of banks. Has anyone ever heard of a forum or website being sued or shut down for someone stating a real life experience....if you can do it on TV or in the press why not on the net??? I agree we should be able to let other Skyline owners know who are the businesses not to use.
  14. Rox park is the home of uncomplied imports isn't it?? R32's with R31 comp plates and rebirthed WRX's......
  15. I don't understand why you can't bag some ass-backwards, dodgy workshop on this forum for fear of legal action, which would never happen anyway, but you can hang it on large corporations like banks which have a history of suing people that defame them........it doesn't make sense!! We all know the banks sukk....we need to know who the dodgy fuccks are!! Glad I got that off my chest
  16. LOL another one of my favorites:D especially if you manage to bruise both thumbs somewhere during all the over corrections!!
  17. Worst I've seen is a shhitty old green Hiace van with Ferrari badges onit:rolleyes:
  18. I removed the GTR badges from my GTR!! I know what it is.....anyone with half a clue knows what it is....
  19. Yeah they are still in place but they are metal bodied seals pressed onto the guide....alot harder to remove than full rubber seals and because it has a bucket/lifter set up the valve stem seals are "inside" the head by about 50mm
  20. Is there an easy way to get the Valve stem seals off on a CA18DET engine??? Been trying for the last hour with no luck...the only way I can see to do it is to make up a tool thet fits under them and then hammer it up....any ideas welcome coz I'm ready to drop kick it out of the shed
  21. There the best....simple as that!! But they are only suited for race applications. You can use them on the street but they are noisy, not as easy to shift unless under full power and wear out quicker than a standard box. But for a race car you can't beat them. For a GTS you would use a H6S-SEQ which is basically the same internals as a V8 supercar box but with a sequential shift.
  22. Faulty or no CAT will definitely show up on EGA as they will get a high hydrocarbon reading. I haven't seen the equipmeny they are using at the moment but I'm reasonably sure they haven't changed the way they check. As for the $10,000 fine, I've never heard of this being issued against any individual.....has anyone else?
