lol, seriously do not remember. Had 2 other passangers in the car for the night, one wouldnt stop playin with the head deck and the other wouldnt stop talking. LOL
-
and how many other photo shoots oftenly happen with just other skyline imports? i think none considerin no one puts on the chance to have photo's taken of skylines these days. fair enough, you can go to the spit and have your photo taken while driving along or parked along the dirt area, but seriously, those photos are not professionally done with good back drops. these photo's may not be "professional" but atleast will come out more then half decent then wat you would get from the pics taken while cruising around the spit. there will be 2 of us with camera's there taking photos. this will give the option of different opinions, angles and views of the car from different preception of what ideas could be used when taking photos of a car.

i didnt see any other skylines following me

Australia is behind in technology dude.... we still only use pics

dont worry! i'm lookin forward to the day i see this cop have his ass handed to him on the platter from the judges and his superiors! when this is happening, we can all live with a bit of satisfaction that one less traffic wanker cop is on our roads and now stuck behind a desk
-
and that is the cop that did me at BP logan road and now he's being taken for a ride with the police justice system as i've nicely laid a complaint against him. QLD transport are also looking into what they can have done about this as well from discussions with them at the pits!

If I wasnt sharing the helmet that night, I would of got more runs in which would of after a while, got my time down I reckon.

The tyres are shit. I'm actually due for new ones. Plus the tyres on the rear are absolutely shit anyway, shouldnt even be using them on the quarter mile or qld raceway. With the suspension. If i allow wheel spin, the rear end is just jumpin up and down non-stop till i take my foot off the accelorator and then re-gain traction and then take off a bit smoother. After talkin to dan. Pineapple bushes will help this but there could be other factors involved causing the rear end to jump up and down such as the diff or suspension. The plan right now is - replace suspension with ISC coilovers (they are new on the market and little has been said, so i'd be happy to give these guys a go and see what happens). Next, after that is a new turbo with external wastegate and high mount manifold. With the mods i've done already, the car should be putting out around 250kws. I'm only getting 215kw's and when on the dyno, something is restricting us back which we dont know. Last tune, we started off and got 296hp and after several times of playing around with the mapping on the powerfc, we kept loosing 1 or 2 hp even though we Matt Spry was properly tunning it giving it more in some areas of the injector maping, etc. Guess one thing I should be finding out is if there is any leaks anywhere and start doing some testing on the engine (compression, etc). Alot I think needs to be done before I look at the turbo upgrade though.

low mph were cause of bad traction (shit tyres & shit stock suspension). in the next few wks, i`ll be upgradin/replacing the suspension to either tein or isc coilovers.
-
My traction and suspension was absolutely shit. was getting rear end bumping on take off, to i ended up takin off a bit slow till i hit 5,000rpm and then hit 2nd gear and just took off. 1st one i didnt do my gear changes all to well 2nd one i did them alot better.
-
1st. 14.419 @ 105.26MPH 2nd. 14.059 @ 106.23MPH
-
9secs? lol lets try mid/high 12's. hoping i get my traction right on take off
-
woohooooo we got an r34 on the cruise

just a few i can list for you city backdrop - mt cootha lookout kangaroo point up the up of the cliff at southbank in front of the qpac building where the grass area is parked in the city (i taken one along creek street) with high rises in the background. gateway bridge backdrop - murrie forrest backdrop - park along the side of the road heading up the mountain of Mt Tamborine in a shaded area with some tree's yet a open view of the mountains goldcoast backdrop - along the road at the spit along the esplande while driving parked in the business area of southport (awesome jacaranda tree in that area) along the indy track. other backdrop - parked in a underground carpark lit-up with numbers on each post. with that last one. find a level with no cars on it and well lit up at night or day making sure there is no sun that is getting in. numbers on each post makes the image look more interesting. take as many angle shots as you can while parked in the driving lane. park it either straight or on a angle with the indy track one. this would be the best time of year. the walls are up and as the track is close to completion, most of the sponsor signs are up to. try and find someone to get in a 2nd car and take photo's of your car driving around on the indy track (make sure there are no other cars in the photo). this would in turn make your car look like it was actually driven at the time of indy and you were racing on the track either well ahead of behind all the other racing cars. LOL

I WANT HEAPS OF SKYLINES THOUGH

be lucky on that one. some cops use the bullshit "under qld transport law, we have full right to open your bonnent even if your not with the car". there are big discussions on boostcruising about this how cops have the right to look under the bonnet according to some law but there is also something else preventing them from being able to. it would be interesting to find out the real truth behind weather or not they are allowed to or not without a warrant, etc.

2 fines. 1x $75 defect 1x $225 for not having a mod plate. Last week I had my father write in a letter to QLD police traffic brance requesting they dismiss the fines and defect notice as its been cleared by QLD transport. If the police dont dismiss it, i'm going to have to run it through the courts to have them dismissed which is going to be a pain in the ass to me and more time off work. if only we could sue the qld police or even better, the copper himself/herself and be reinburst for the bullshit we have to go through and spend cause of their screw ups! the mechanics that I've shown these to have just completely laughed at this cop for giving me the "not having a mod plate" fine and the bullshit written on the defect notice. I was even happy to also state to the cop "its cops like you who put us through defect stations for no real reason what so ever. Your happy to not just waste my time going through it, but also the person/people at the defect station when they clearly have better things to do then go over a car that is not defective". he then went on to say "your car is defective in my opinion and i have to send you to qld transport inspection station. i shouldnt have to do this to you cause you seem like a nice guy but i got to send you there". clearly he knew he didnt have to send me if he made that statement. i think what really pissed him off was the fact i knew wat i was talking about and he either felt threaten that his knowledge is little compared to what I knew about the fines he gave me.

One recent situation that has pissed me off is when trying to talk to a cop about something, they seem to be more interested in your car. example (true fact too). I pulled into BP servo along logan road in underwood about 2 months ago. The cop was already there filling up and i pulled in to fill up. he walked in, paid while i was still filling up and then he came out. Now, with the new laws comin in about ppl under the age of 25 now allowed to have high performance cars, i decided to ask him what exactly is goin to happen to those who already have this type of car. of course, he answered it quickly and briefly with the question to me straight after "can you pop your hood for me, just wanna have a look for a sec". now straight away, this had nothing to do with my question. The cop went over the engine to tell me there are a few things wrong. One being the BOV being atmospheric. He then told me to go inside, pay and he’ll talk to me more when I get out. Of course, the cop decided to get in his car and straight writing up his fines for me. I stood around for about 20-30mins waiting for him to come back to me, i was ready to get in the car and just drive off. After waiting and he came back to me. He manage to issue me with 2 fines. 1x being a defect fine for driving a defective vehicle. 1x being another fine for not having a modification plate when I apparently require one for the mods I've had done to the car. the other notice he gave me was a defect notice. of course. This cop knew nothing about what he was talking about when I decided to talk back and state "sorry, the exhaust meets DB regulations based on previous testing already done" "also, the BOV is allowed as there is no emission testing here in QLD and the only emission testing in Australia in Melbourne to which I aint driving down there cause I am not under Victorian transport laws as this car is a registered QLD car" "the intercooler is allowed as discussed with QLD transport on many occasions both face to face at defect stations on thursday nights and on the phone, etc" the cop then went on to bullshit to me about how it impacts the saftey of the car when in a car accident as it will further help push the engine back into the cabin breaking through the firewall, etc etc. I completely laughed at this guy and then to question him "exactly what training have you had in regards to defecting people for the correct defects?" and he goes "the police provide adequate training at all times" and i laughed. I then said "dude, I'll see you in court". Of course, I was pretty much hyped up after this and took the fines straight to my father who is a lawyer and he saw the defect notice and asked "what legislation doesnt your car comply with as he hasnt stated this on the notice" and I said "whatever it says on there". I recently had to take the car through QLD transport because of this cop and the car was cleared and was of roadworthiness and applied correctly with all modification rules and laws. QLD Transport said I was the 2nd person that week to go through the inspection station because of this 1 cop for the same reasons written down on the defect notice. I told QLD transport that maybe this guy needs some real training cause clearly he doesnt know what he is doing. Lesson from this. DO NOT TALK TO COPS WHEN NOT BEING APPROACHED BY THEM!!!!!!

Come on!!!!! we want more people to come to this! be good for a big turn out.
-
Saw a cop racing to beat a red light last night in aspley area. didnt make it, instead, he didnt stop and ended up running the red light. i had the window down, gave him a clap and straight away, he braked and countinued on driving knowing he was caught and seen by someone in public for doin something wrong. cops like this deserve the book thrown at them IN COURT just like they throw us through the courts and waste the judges time.
-
That would be me last night with my new plates on for the first time!!!! Nahh, was pullin in there to fillup at the BP. Oldies live around the corner from Springwood high though.
