  8. More Details - http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....howtopic=158727 LINK UPDATED TO NEW ORGANISED CRUISE Though we usually keep away from boostcruising, I think the cause behind this cruise is enough to atleast dismis any wrong thoughts of boostcruising for this one event and to atleast pay respect to the man who showed the world what an real Australian is. The people behind the scenes of this cruise will also be taking donations which are goin towards 'Wildlife Warriors' thing that Steve Irwin has setup.
  9. 2 of the photo's I took from Mt Cootha Lookout.
  10. interesting.... didnt know that. I'll talk to you more on MSN about it
  11. Just been up to Mt Cootha about an hour ago and took a few pics of the city (from where I was standing and zoomed in). If only I didnt leave my cable for the camera to the pc at work, I would upload them now. but damm!!!! these photo's just lookin at them on the LCD screen on the camera look awesome. The photo's have actually turned out way better then I would expect. Col... Yeah, camera's are fun!!! Glad I've gone the distance with buyin a high qauility camera now and also the additional lenses and filters, etc. Just waitin on my Telephoto lens to arrive which shouldnt be to far away! I'll post the pics up in the mornin when I get to work and connect the camera up to the work laptop, then upload the pics onto here to show
  12. power i'm makin is in my sig. recent tune almost got me to 300hp.
  13. Some may be aware, recently I just purchased a new camera (Sony DSC H5). I'm no professional photographer but am learning quite quickly on how to use the camera. Blow are just a few pics I took from my weekend outting with this camera. I thought it may be a good idea to possibly get a heap of skylines together and actually get a photo shoot underway. The last organised cruise by Mud, Col & a few others took his cameras along and that was the last best group shoots taken of all the skylines. We have a choice to have the photo's taken of a day time or night time. If we are to have it of a night time, the lighting in and around the cars would need to be slightly lite up a bit (not overly done of course) with the back drop being well lite up such as the buildings of the CBD area. This giving me the idea of having the photo's taken along the top of Kangaroo Point cliffs. If the choice is of a day time, we would need a excellent back drop of something artistic such as hills, a dark storm coming towards us or even cliffs or the city, etc. Possibly even the graffity train carriages out at eagle farm in the old train yards (recently a photo shoot was taken of my car out there, hence I know of this location and have seen some of the photos and they've turned out excellent). Would anyone be interested in getting this done? Of course, this thread is open to discussion on where we can do the photo shoot, when we should do it and after a bit of a discussion on this subject, we'll have a place and time organised. I'm open to discussion and feedback.

  20. would be BEST TO LEARN how to turn your caps lock off first.
  21. yep, very much like this cop. except this cop didnt know what he was talking about. he gave me a fine for not having a modification plate. clearly i dont require a modification plate for any of the mods i have done and he was happy to mention that he goes through the courts atleast 3 times a week cause people fight the fines he hands out. well, clearly this should state something to him.
  22. Camera: Sony DSC H5 Price Range: $600-$800 from ebay. Date of Review: August, 2006 Like? I've pretty much just taken this camera straight out of the box, had a bit of a play with it and slightly changed the settings and gone through the different photo choices I have (night, day, etc). So far, I'm very impressed with the outcome it's actually given me. The LCD on the back of the camera is somewhat bigger then any other LCD i've seen (yep, full 3 inch LCD screen). The zoom with its focus is outstanding. I've pretty much sat at the same distance I would usually in front of a monitor with my camera and have zoom in and still was able to read the words perfectly clear. This 12x zoom with 7.2megapixels is awesome! Dislike? Found nothing to dislike about it yet. Only one small problem I have come across is when holding this camera for a while, my left hand was a bit sore but probably from holding the camera in the same palm position as my right hand was doing more moving using the buttons at my finger tips. Rating: 9 out of 10 Sample picture: From the first pic, thats the distance i was sitting from that brown box and then I started to zoom in gaining better focus as I played with some of the settings.
  23. was down there and got out of there 30mins later. didnt see any cops but glad i was in and out.
  24. mad082... if ur referin to the cop 'M LITTLE' then i know what your perfectly talking about in terms of him booking people not no reason. he clearly has no idea what he is talking about nor has an idea about any modification requirements allowed.
