  1. That i'm not to sure about. Nick just stated that I can get 20psi out of a standard high flow turbo without busting anything internally or breaking anything at all. However, to get the 20psi, the injectors would need upgrading which they should be arriving tomorrow or friday. There will be plans to upgrade the turbo sometime later on into the year towards the end. Just got to get use to the power I have now.
  2. Wouldnt be any distaster for mods as they then wouldnt have to close topics themselves when needed or requested. maybe not a good idea in terms of what you said for scammers. standard members when they signup dont have the ability to delete topics, but when your apart of other groups such as sau qld, you can which is good. thought it would be good to be able to close your own topic. after all, you can delete your own topic which in most cases is more power for a user then being able to close a topic.
  3. Looks as though Mt Tamborine is the choice. The cruise will partake on the Sunday. Leave from probably Springwood Crazy Clarks at around 10.30 for arrival of 12pm. There will be a stop in at Yatala allowing goldcoast cruisers that are coming along to cruise up the mountain with us. Will be heading up their either this wknd (probably not as work is being done on the car) or next wknd (which is most likely) to gather information and a route for the cruise. We have a choice on food.... can eat up at the pub located on the mountain or we can take our own snags along for a BBQ. I'll look at area's on the mountain to have a BBQ at.
  4. safe level. 21/22 is on the edge.
  5. Nick said that i can get it upto 20PSI and around 260-270kw's on a standard rebuilt, high-flowed turbo. that 238kw's i mention was from the first run I got after the tune was completed. Computer crashed at the time and wasnt able to save it, so when we did the 2nd run, we got 233kw's.
  6. I didnt think I would of required a oil cooler kit. After asking dan about it this morning by SMS, he recommended that I should get one. One I'm looking at is the one from the business trader section in the 'for sale' area the gr33dy guy is selling. It's $340. I dont know much about these oil kits except for whats advertised. Unless anyone else knows anythin about them, information would be great. Reason for the tune a few weeks ago was that I was wanting to see how much power I could get out of it all with just what had been done. I did not expect the injectors to be maxed out to 100% but, they did to which Nick at Brisbane Tuning recommended that I upgrade to a set of injectors between 550cc to 650cc. Nothing more otherwise i'll see alot of lag. With the new injectors, coilpack and oil cooler kit going in, this will only take upto an hour Nick said where as, the last tune I had took up to 3 & half hrs. So, with the price Brisbane tuning are charging me, I'm not going to complain about goin back just for an hour to tune the car again. Well worth it in the end.
  7. one car related shop i know of in stones corner is SuperCheap. But other then that, Repco at Fortitude Valley / Bowen Hills area is the closest to new farm. Otherwise there is a Repco in Woolloongabba.
  8. When it starts to go down towards the down on the graph, those are the injectors maxing out. New injectors should be here tomorrow or Friday the latest. Injectors & new coilpack goes in this wknd (i'm hoping). Next wknd, oil cooler and oil filter relocator goes in next wknd. Then, after all that, come Wednesday the car goes back on the road and in for a tune up with the new stuff being added to it. Possibly 2wks after being back on the road, new adjustable cams will be going on. Once these go on, the aim is for 270kw's!!!!!
  9. repco at fortitude valley / bowen hills area. www.autobarn.com.au www.repco.com.au

  24. I'll be organising to go to for a cruise myself with another person either next wknd or wknd after and organise a route to the location. Depending on where the cruise is, there will be starting spots on both the south and north side and meeting at the destionation before moving onto the final location where we will stop to have lunch, etc. Anyone willing to pitch in and help out with the organising of the cruise, feel free to PM me.
  25. I've got one on mine and the one i'm buying from this group buy is for a friend. They do feel awesome and way better then the stock standard one that comes with them. The leather feel on these ones feel better then the leather standard ones. Though, it feels as though the standard ones are more rubber type ones then leather. Those that aren't aware of the transport laws on these, would be recommended that you do contact your transport office. Here in QLD, they are allowed as long as the gear pattern is shown. A sticker with the gear patter comes with these gear knobs to which you can just stick somewhere around the gearstick which therefore complies with QLD transport's request to have the gear patterns showing. 1 person requested to be taken off the list, this has been done. so 3 spots are now available.
