Its not so much about expose but more along the lines of keeping it to a forum theme layout. Either way... this was just a suggestion to forward for further thinking. That was all.
-
Being a sub-forum section would attract more attention. Not many people are all that interested in going through there profiles, etc etc.
-
As I posted this some weeks ago... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=89065 The mod had replied stating that the mods of each state would need to put setup that new sub-forum section themselves. So, being a Queenslander, therfore participating in the Queensland section, I thought I create this thread to see if the QLD Mods would be able to see if they are interested in taking on this idea to show the other states that it would work. It's on a suggestion but I think it would actually work better as a sub-forum catagory then a blog type section.

Anyone interested in helping out, let me know. Can reply to this thread or can send me a PM. I'm in the Coorparoo area - 5-10mins southside of the CBD. Just near Stones Corner / Woolloongabba / Morning Side area.

Wanting to puchase a intercooler & kit within the next week or so and I'm after some help if possible on trying to get it installed. Workshops seem to be charging through the nose for it ($400+) and I thought that if I could possibly grab some help on getting it installed, there would be some fun in doing this project instead of me watchin a mech do all the work. Of course, I'm happy to pay a few $$'s for the person to help or a carton of beer if thats what they would like. Would perfer though someone who has done a install on their's as experience would be good.

As I was tryin to pull out of the Coffee Club at Springwood today, some dude stopped in front of me asking if I was Slow33. Sorry dude, I'm not. He was pretty convinced I was Slow33 though
-
Spotted a black r33 on the way back from Springwood this arvo just after 5pm. Got to say, thats one pretty big wear wing! I thought mine was annoying, can only imagin yours would be worst.
-
whats your location? got a gtr rear spoiler/wing for sale?

Yeah. I see that the mounting of such a thing on the dash board above the hight of whatever the thing is called is set to allow people to fight it out with the police and/or courts. Then again, so is the noise of people's exhaust as well. Those with harely davidson's can be found to produce noise 10x more then what a noisey car would produce in my opinion and yet, they wont get defected cause the bike can as is stock standard with that amount of noise.
-
In regards to guages being mounted to the pillar and/or dash board. THEY ARE ALLOWED as long as they are under the height of the top bit of your cover thing for the speedo/rpm on the dash board. Anything above this height, you can be defected for it as it can be seen as obstructing your view.

New Sub-forum Suggestion
Mr-Toy33 replied to Mr-Toy33's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
Ahh, sounds fair then. It was just a suggestion that I thought I would put forward as it would then allow people to become a bit more interactive with the site as keeping their skyline profile up to date is somewhat a enjoyable thing to some. After all, on boostcruising, people are constantly posting new pics of their cars after they wash them -
That is the translated one.

Give some wreckers are call. There is one that I know - AllJap. They're based in Slacks Creek & also a yard over the northside.

The Japanese took out a Supra & R34 Skyline to see which they felt actually produced more power from the feel of it when driving it. The Japanese ended up fearing for their life when driving the R34 and was to the looks of it, overly excited when driving the R34 as well. Check out this video clip - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...upra+vs+skyline

New Sub-forum Suggestion
Mr-Toy33 replied to Mr-Toy33's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
No, not really like that. Still keeping with the forum theme layout. It would be just like as if your still making a new thread within a forum area. -
As there is a list of states in the Forum index New South Wales Victoria Western Australia Queensland Nothern Territory South Australia Australia Capital Territory Tasmania Then under each of those states, there is currently a sub-forum called 'Events'. Another suggested Sub-Forum that could be added is - Your Skyline Project This allowing each member from each state to post the details of their car in this sub-forum and detailing what they are doing to their skyline as they go along with upgrading bits and pieces of it. e.g. - Their first post would be a complete description/specification list of what is currently in their skyline. Then the second post would be "I've now upgraded my turbo from the old one to this new one, blahh blahh blahh" and they can just keep adding to the list. As well as progressing with upgrading their thread, they can also add pics incase their body kits change or interior changes, etc etc. This, however is just an idea to get more people into posting more details about their skylines on here.

So who is already running the ethanol in their fuel mixture and how's the car performing so far? Anyone tried it yet?
-
Jealousy of these kids that people such as us can own such a magnificant car yet, becasue they are jealous, they have to go destroy what we have. I ever see anyone keying mine, there will be no tomorrow left for the f**kwit cause the courts/government/police will say they are powerless to do anything.

Saw a blue r34 today pulling out of Autobarn as I was driving in this afternoon at the Slacks Creek one. We both waved!

If your after a bunch of yeller's from your belcony, let us know! We'll be there to yell for the chicks on your behalf while your sittin back gettin a couple of beer's down

http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,16694816-2,00.html So, what is this going to do to our skylines? I do understand that there is really no octane in ethanol as it is suppose to be a cleaner petrol. But if that is to be the case, we going to see skylines dumped on the side of our roads cause they just cant start anymore? I'm not 100% sure as to what effects ethanol will have on our cars, but I'd like to know
