How long did it take to do and how long did it take to dry? You leave it out in the sun to dry during the day or you put it back into the car once it was slightly dry enough to not drip and then allow it to dry in the car?

A hello to a white gts-t r33 skyline that just drove up French Street heading onto Old Cleveland Road tonight at around 6.30. Had personalised plates, but wasn't able to see them as we were both moving a bit quick each way.

Currently, my interior is pretty much all stock and black in colour. I'm wanting to change it a bit and I've found one skyline of interest to what I would like to make mine look like - Just wondering as to how this would be done. Now, I do know just from basic knowlegde that the bolts that hold it all in need to be take out. It would then need to be sanded back and then resprayed. So, questions are - What type of sandpaper is needed to make it smooth? What type of paint/spray can is needed to get this perfect colour? Thanks!

Notice one of these up on ebay for sale today while doing a search for 'nismo' products that are for sale on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISMO-BLANK-KEY-SKY...1QQcmdZViewItem Just wondering as to exactly what these do and what they are used for. If it is actually a key, how would it be used to work with the ignition, key door entry and boot lock?

Where & What is the QSC section?

Yeah, I've only ever been once and that was for the whole 4 days back in 2003. Was a awesome experience and had it all video recorded and everything. This year, I'll just be taking still pics probably as I got to organise to buy a digital camera before Indy!

Nope. That's some special deal they are doing for a 4 day pass on TV I think. Weekend Adult Pass - $120.00 Weekend Adult Cons. Pass - $90.00 Time to bring out the old wheel chair I think! hehe Otherwise, you can pay each day your down there (these are adult prices, not consession prices). Thursday - $29.00 Friday - $48.00 Saturday - $70.00 Sunday - $76.00 Rather buy the weekend pass and save myself $26 and put it towards fuel. Source - http://www.indy.com.au/pricing Ohhh yeah! If you buy your Indy tickets through Ticket, it's a free train ride down there and back. Source - http://www.indy.com.au/gettingthere/ridefree Those interested in seeing the track - http://www.indy.com.au/event/trackmap Hope this information is handy for atleast someone!

Indy Cars = More Speed = More of a chance to hit the wall = More excitement/entertainment to watch. Other then that. When they come down through their gears and then just take off, it sounds really awesome!

Chasing about 180-200rwKW. I'm looking at getting a new upgraded turbo for the skyline.

Think I need to bring mine out of the shed! Haven't driven it since late Sunday afternoon!

So, now that Jamboree is all over and done with, who's up for going to indy? Unfortantly I didnt get the chance to go to Jamboree this year due to having to work both Saturday & Sunday. Was given the chance to not work on Saturday, but if it allows me to bring in extra $$'s to spend on the skyline, then that's what I'll do! Indy's only a month away now (exactly from this day). I'm thinkin of just headin down for the weekend and getting a wknd pass (Friday night, Saturday & Sunday entry). Who else here is going? Should be a good 4 day event! All those fumes, chicks, drinks, food & everythin else that comes with those indy cars & v8supercars just couldnt make things feel more better then being in a real motorsport event! Anyone entering their car in for the Friday night event at all?

Very interested, however, I'm located in Brisbane. I'm looking at goin to hardcore next week and giving them the choice "Hey, I got $2,500. Want to do my turbo and intercooler for me all in one go or shall I come back another time for the intercooler or go else where". When it comes to business, $2,500 is alot for them. So I can pretty much find someone who's interested in doin the job for that price considering I've heard of people buying intercoolers for around $200-$250 mark and the pipping kit, etc for about $300.

Want to remove the GTS25T sticker on the back of the car (on the boot lid), however I know it's going to leave a mark on the car as the sticker has probably been on it since it was born. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good cleaning product that would remove the marks from off the paint, without damaging the paint work at all?

I've had 2 mech's already look at the turbo and they've both determined that it's the turbo. It only sqeals at 4,500+RPM which is when I'm hitting full boost. One of the mech's let me put my hand down in towards the turbo and feel the small bolt/fan thing to which i was able to move back and forward and a mil. Both mech's felt this and said it's not at all a good sign for the turbo. Possibly if it moved left to right which it isn't doing that. They've stated that the inpropella fan is rubbing up against the housing. If I do however need to have the oil lines, etc etc changed to suit a turbo upgrade (which bolts straight on), then thats fine. I just dont want to be bullshitted to just for the business to make a few extra $$'s at the sake of their lies. Later on, I'm planning to also upgrade the clutch and also have a intercooler put on. Those are really the only mods I want to have done to it. That should easily gain me 180-200rwKW's I've been told which I'd be happy with. Since the sqealing though, i've seem to have lost a great deal of power. Not sure if I'm use to it or if the car has actually lost the power it use to have (which is what I think has happened), but i just dont feel the kick anymore when taking off and I also dont thrash the car, so leaves me to think its lost it's power that it use to once have.

R33 gtst parts for sale
Mr-Toy33 replied to skyman's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
where abouts you located? I'm interested in the turbo. -
Got a 1993 model, R33 skyline with everything pretty much being stock as except for the BOV and the exhaust system. Recently looked at getting the turbo rebuilt and high-flowed due to the turbo pretty much being stuffed as it sqeals at 4,500RPM or more. The other option I've now come across is getting a new turbo which will produce more power then rebuilding my current turbo and high-flowing it. Going to upgrade the turbo to a GT3071. What I would like to know is there anything else required in upgrading to this turbo such as oil lines, water system, fuel system or anything? I've got Hardcore Racing at Slacks Creek carrying out the work for me. They've stated that other things need to be done. I just need to be sure that they do need to be done rather then hearing them say "this has to be done as well" just so they can make a few extra $$'s from me. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah, saw a few out myself today. Saw one hot blonde chick in a white R33 on the freeway headin towards the city this afternoon. Can't remember the plates numbers, letters were JAS. Got to admit, very nice clean white R33. When heaps of people saw my skyline and her skyline... a few people merged over to the left land, slowed down and got behind us. Shame I had to exit at Woolloongabba.

With this kit... All I have to do is just take it down to my machanic and ask him to take my stock clutch out and put this one in. is that all? As well as have the flywheel machined I would take it?

Got a R33 skyline GTS-T. I want to put a intercooler on it for better performance as I'm upgrading the turbo within the next week or 2. What size intercooler is recommended? And also what price range am I looking at for the intercooler by itself? Also also what price range am I looking at for the intercooler kit (pipping, etc) by itself? I should be able to do the install on my own or with a friend who knows a bit about installing a intercooler with the FAQ threads provided on how to install one. As well as the pricing for a intercooler. Can anyone tell me how much they've brought a new front bar for, with the spacing of a intercooler to fit in place? I'm in the Brisbane area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
