  1. Hey Dave..... How far did you end up getting with this? Cheers J.
  2. There were. Many ways that 'user' adjustments were made to fuel, ignition trim and boost levels. I wouldn't think that it's outside the realms of possibilities...
  3. noooo.... china china china
  4. when your at the end of the road with everything else, there are gains to be had under particular circumstances with a highly strung rb.... more than 1%. Just costs time and money to find out what works for your combo... most people don't want to spend the time or money to find out. J.
  5. Looking for a set of stock or aftermarket front guards for my S13 silvia drift pig. Cheers J.
  6. ... what turbo is it?
  7. Main looks good... That's ALOT of turbo for 350kw
  8. Or get a 6 into 1 one of these cut: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Billet-Steel-Turbo-Merge-Collector-CNC-Machined-Split-Pulse-T3-4-Cylinder-/190889823264?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c71eb8c20
  9. similar, just with a better merge angles on the front 3. like this.. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243329-td06-20g-l2-full-turbo-kit-greddy-100mm-thick-cooler-3233-gtr-power-fc-controller-17-rims/
  10. It'll work.... probably not optimal, but it'll do the job :-) If space was tight, I would have branched 3 into 1 the 2 into 1 similar to the trust TD05/6 manifold. Nice welding too. Cheers J.
  11. No hard and fast rules about overall length or equal length... volume, heat and velocity. I'd be looking at merge angles, turbulence and pressure loss. What size flange are you intending to use?
  12. Hi Dave, Before you go any further, have a look into merge collectors for a 6cy to t3/4 flanges. Cheers J.
  13. ..... nice datsun in the back ground. wonder where you got such a good looking little rig? When the watanbe's turn up, shoot me a PM if you want to sell the SSR's on the 32. Cheers Justin
  14. I run 18x10.5 -15 on my 32GTR with 265 falkens, no major dramas yet (no rolled guards either).
  15. I'm driving a set of ID1000's with a wolf 3D V4 plug in. It's ok for a drift car but struggles a bit to controll them nicely at idle/ low rpm part throttle. If it's a road car, it would be hard to go past a haltech plug in/PS 1000/2000 to controll them nicely. Cheers J.
  16. just don't 'clean' the inside of the tb's or throttle plates! put it back together with metal (hks, tomei, nitto) gaskets with a little holymar. J.
  17. "bangs per second" gold... Ahhhh... kids these days.
  18. Alot of the early Japanese drag Gtr's had modified stock plenums with vh45 tb's. I was always under the impression it was for ease of tuning. I haven't seen much in the way of intake trickery done with rb's.... jenvey style updraft centre entry manifolds, experimentation with different intake angles (apex v-max and the hks drag gtr's), exploring split 2x3 intake manifolds, variable length runners etc Maybe try and find a cheap greedy knockoff, build a spacer plate that's as wide as you can get to fit for a bit of extra runner length, build a bias set trumpet arrangement and whack a vh45 Tb on the front... see what happens? Then keep us updated Cheers J
  19. ^^ what he said. Or loose the Na rib and throw in a modified LSxxx. Yes and were both stagea owners. J.
  20. Wow.... my 80's turbo car jones'n just hit a new high. ..That is an exceptionally good looking leopard (runs off to put a fs sign on my drift car!!!).
  21. yeiks.... looks like a pretty solid hit. looks liike the little 32 absorbed it pretty well.... hope all are ok. J.
  22. Just to confirm, this is an r33 GTR r200? I've been looking for the part number for the nismo rebuild/upgrade for my r32 GTR. Who did you source the diff parts from? Cheers Justin
