I can confirm that rb20 AFM's are a straight plug in to r32 GTR loom. They're only good for 400rwkw. I'm 90% shure that series 1 rb25 AFM's are the same plug, pin out and voltage ramp. Hope it helps J.

As topic states: I'd like to know if anyone has had they're standard throttle bodies enlarged on an RB26. If so, any result data and contact details for who they used for the work would be greatly appreciated. I havn't really seen or heard about it in Aus. Did you leave a rag in the intercooler pipe work??? It's allright... everyone dose it.

Try that.... moving to Tassie, Good plann! ha ha ha. If your worried about the heat/humidity throw the car on the dyno on the hottest- most humid day you can...

Thats why I live in Tassie. It's cold ALL the time! ha ha ha. Good crisp air is awsome for power production and throttle response. It would be hard to know what effects humidity (if any) would have in such a warm climate. If your worried about intake temps and humidity, throw the car on a chassis dyno in summer and give it a good work out. Then log the coolant, oil and air intake temps as well as afr's/detonation. If your so inclined- install a larger intercooler and oil cooler with a thermostat. Also if the car is auto, invest in a trans cooler if your going to give the car a hard time.

Andy wont have any problems adapting to ViPec... Did you get the plug in V66 or V88? I'd like to hear what Andy has to say about it, as I'm going to need a more comprehensive ECU when I get back. It's not so much the peak numbers that the cars put out, be the motors that last after he's tuned them... He tuned XRATED nearly 6 years ago now... the wot tune was spot on for racing, the stock 15yo bottom end lasted two seasons of racing before I blew it up using too much gass on a 200m skid. 460rwkw from -5's ... must be one hell of a head on it. Call Ati- they will make you a custom dampner at minimal additional cost. I recently had a 500hp rb26 ballancer modified to suit rb25. I just sent them a technical drawing of what I wanted and they modified it to my spesification. The guys are happy to work with you. Cheers Justin
