I spoke to the sparky on friday arvo, asking whether or not they've got in contact with you Chris. They said that they were organising to bring my car over to your workshop that afternoon. Have they managed to bring the car over to your workshop yet? Did you get a chance to look at it?

Hey guys, I've recently made purchased to a Skyline gtv35 300 sedan 01. I've only driven it for 3wks to find that there is a problem with the air-con and the front loading cd stacker. My problem is that the controls to both the stereo and the AC (all the switches and buttons) does not work. At the start the controls to both the AC and the stereo sometimes works, but now its completely out. This means that I've lost control of the AC and it just keeps itself on (when the car is ignited, of cos!)at the last climate control degree that I've set it to, and I cannot use the stereo at all. I've taken it back to the car yard and and they've allocated me to their Auto electrician (My car is under warranty). Right now the car has been in the shop for 3 wks, and the problem had been diagnose that there was a malfunction with the central computer control for both the AC and the Stereo. So far I've heard nothing but bad news. The sparky said that they've pulled out the computer control and have send it down to SYD for further testing. And so far SYD said that they've also detected the fault but was unable to find the parts to repair it. My question is that, do you guys know any Japanese import car parts that prehaps I can get in contact with, so that I can "HELP" the sparky to fix my car quicker than the current process? Much appreciated.

thanks man I'll suds it out. Just came back from work tonight, damn tired. saw a lancer(don't think it was an evolution) with evolution kit and all. nice ride. where abouts on the dash should i be looking at? I am roughly guessing its what you said, but i'll check it out just to be sure.

When I'd made purchase to the car, the sales told me that my car has all the spec of a Turbo only without the turbo. On the papers it states that it's a GTX 34 Vspec. Maybe it is a GT-V *shrug*

No, He wasn't on a pedestrian crossing. I "nudged" him at an entrance to a car park. I am pretty sure it's a GTX Vspec. That's what my papers saids. Unless I am illiterate. Other than that, I am not so sure with Skylines. How do I check it out?

You're right on that one! But I found out after I got home so...Oh well, the car is too shiny to acknowledge it from a far...but up close...*cry*

really? thx I was originally thinking of Viper, but then I've heard they don't make Viper Alarms anymore...I don't even know what brands there is to choose ffrom as a matter of fact Know how much it usually cost to upgrade the immobiliser to a full alarm system(any brand)? If not, who should I speak to about it on the coast? thx for putting up with my 20 questions

thanks for the low down guys, be right on it with the alarm system! the car currently has a mongoose immobiliser in it, if i was to upgrade it, should i stick with a mongoose alarm? what options do i have? and where and who should I see on the coast to get it done? peace

Ok guys here it is...please go to My Webpage and check it out in one of the photo album. Due to my negligence today coming out of Chevron Renaissance in Surfers, I almost run over this pedestrian. He is ok, and unharmed. In return, I got an ear-full of swearing (I deserved it) and worst of all, a few light dints on my Skyline's hood... *cry*

Hi guys, I've recently made purchase to a 99 Skyline GTX 34 Vspec non turbo with no spoiler. There are a few things I would like to do to it, but just don't know where to start and where to look, can you guys give me some advise? Car is in stock condition. I live on the coast. 1) Full body kit and where? What choices do I have? Cost? 2) Exhaust - what kind and where? 3) Upgrade immobiliser to an alarm, how much and what brand? 4) Stereo - want to upgrade the stereo system cos it's factory. Want to put in some speakers and maybe an amp or two, but totally don't know where to start, please advise. (prefereably Pioneer or Kenwood) Thank you peace
