-
Does anyone know which grooves to use to get the 350mm front and 340mm read ride height as I am getting it put in today and would save me some money if I could tell them where to start?

RE55's are good, got 6 track days out of them on a second set of wheels and cut seconds off my times.

Who Is The Best Driver? Put Your Self To The Uas Test!
Reedy replied to OZ GTR35's topic in Events Archive
I'll have a go as long as I manage to get some new tyres b4 the 19th so I can drive my car as well. -
John got a 1.5 way I believe it doesn't lock up so much under braking? Had a great day as well boys especially the last few sessions. Thanks to Abo and boys for organising it.
-
Thanks boys as well had a good day but where were the trophies on the last Oran park day, I'm sure I was close to the quickest 6 cylinder turbo class non GTR or race car (and will have to not include 4 cylinders as well). Anyway Luke you said you've got a larger water pulley, which one was it I couldn't see any for r33 gtst? Would like to do more than 3 laps without the water temp reaching 100 degrees (or maybe get a N1 water pump or larger radiator). Also might do the eastern creek day if you get some semis in time.

Buying A New R33 Diff
Reedy replied to THE_350GT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I noticed a lot of power was being lost in the standard lsd, felt a very noticeable difference in power in a straight line. On the track putting being able to put power down (270rwkw) when coming out of a corner was heaps easier. On the road for daily driving a bit of pain in parking etc. tends to clunk if you accelerate from stand still with the wheel turned. On the the hole one of the best mods I've done its just that it turns the car from road car into more of a track car. -

Need New Lsd For My R33 Gtst
Reedy replied to al_r33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I got a cusco 1.5 way type RS from greenline for $1150. One of the best mods I've done, on the track heaps easier to put the power down around corners and car also feels heaps more powerful as 270rwkw not being lost in the standard lsd. But in car parks or if you have do a turning start, it can get very annoying - clunk and chirp etc. fine as long a you accelerate straight under 30km/h and turn without the pedal down. Got old standard one though if you want it? -
I've got a similar fuel problem which was happening 2 weeks a go at Eastern Creek and I hope you guys could help with as I'm not sure if it surging or fuel rate problem. When doing a sharp right hand turn (turn 9) with a third of a tank left coming out of the corner I would get no power and the car would misfiring. When I filled the tank up again it went away. I have and 270rwkw r33 gtst with a bosch 040 fuel pump and 555cc injectors. Do I need a surge tank or fuel regulator? Any help much appreciated.

Wayne ended up going to both to wakefield as well as Eatern Creek had a good day with a couple of mates but very hot could only do 2 laps slightly hard before water temp was above a hundred need that oil cooler. EC is a heaps better track especially at the end after learning some lines following Paul around.
-
I'm going down oon sat with a mate in another r33 gtst been to a couple before I would highly recommend it - good value and wakefield is the best track for your first time (plenty a space rond the track for mistakes - thats why I'm going there again).
-
Still a spare spot I believe if any one wants it?

Help needed for Nismo Pro LSD
Reedy replied to rob1981's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Are the Nismo Pro LSD good for daily driver, track and drift car as I was looking at getting one? Also which version 1.5 or 2.0 way and does it improve traction as I need some help with my 270rwkw? -
I got it for $2900 back in January but I think the exchange rate has improved since then, took 1 week to arrive and I've got it on 1.2 bar which is 17-18 psi to get 270rwkw.
-
I bought it from greenline http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpar...category=engine the kit has everything you need to fit onto a rb25det and it took a bit over a week to arrive. I got 270 rwkw with standard internals and exhaust cam.

New Brake Pads Fitted - Still making Noise
Reedy replied to Babylon's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
My pads are really loud after a wakefield day where I did go off into the dust. Does anyone know the best way to clean the brakes?
