  6. agreed. i still dont have 2 bolts in the top of my bell housing when i removed the gearbox a yr ago

Jayson we just pulled out another engine tonite with gearbox still intact - was a ca18de. didnt have a engine crane as ours was borrowed so we used the hoist instead good ol bar across it in up she goes i couldnt c y u cant leave the gearbox on as its a pain to get the top bolts out of the housing anyways let us know how u go

  11. jay - goto one of ur local auto places n buy a engine crane and an engine stand if u dont have these. u should b able to keep the intake plenum and the ex manifold and turbos on then. just make sure u undo the exhaust
  12. yeah those engine cranes r pretty cheap
  13. that engine trolley looks to high, cos then uve got to get it to the engine stand to strip it. thats y going from the top sometimes seems easier

Hey Jayson From my exp in taking out engines its probably easier to take it out from the top. take off the ex manifold and turbos, undo the fmic piping, take out radiator, undo the aircon pump, take out the coil packs or wiring, undo the gearbox, undo the engine mounts then lift it out. anything ive missed? also jayson how easy is it to strip down a motor as ill be doing this on the rb30 block i have

  20. we have just finished supercharging a 1jz soarer with a t04 aswell. instant 5psi then boost hard im trying to get the same done to mine doooriftoo

  22. hmm they look kinda the same design but the turning mechanism seem to have different joins or something. have u got a 1996 q45 tps? my guess would to be either go this way or u will have to have the tps custom fitted
