  4. cheers andrew as a question andrew (u may or may not know this) but what point roll cage is usually required at track days (not race days) to run slicks?

  8. i agree with clint no point running somethin no one can tune, or else we would all run hks fcon v pro computers find urself an excellent tuner and go with what they use its amazing what some ppl can do with very little
  9. if it was overful it would blow the seals on the engine n prob lots of other things do u have an oil cooler? that will usually add a few litres of oil to the system otherwise just put in how much u think it needs, turn it over, check the level and add the amount required as shown on the dipstick
  10. ahh ok trouble is i have already got a set of brand new full slicks here ready to go... just need the cage the legalities of it on the road dont fuss me as it can be removed if i ever get harassed about it know of any places that do approved ones duncan? phone numbers, details would be a big help cheers

  14. yeah al i will be a member.. as soon as i go racing... ive been waiting for forms to fill out etc but nothing as yet
  15. to be honest id get an ecu first... then follow that with a fuel pump/regulator. do exhaust (cat back or turbo back). front mount intercooler. after this id look at doing boost increases altho u could get away with it after doing ecu but if u dont wanna spend much money i would buy a safc, exhaust and then a boost controller.... i had 170rwkws with this setup (mine has an apexi pod aswell)

  17. what kinda power do u want from it? how do u want it to look etc? the mods can go on for ever ive spent very close to 20k on my series 2 r33 this yr so i know what its like to mod something
  18. i might rock up... but i wont be racing the line this time - engine is taking a lil longer than expected guys (looks towards snowy), any dates been planned for feb yet? as in sandown, p.i etc?
  19. it all depends on how long u want the engine to last... eventually its going to blow. how long determines many factors as a question... couldnt u just hoist the car up and get to the leak from below? btw ive just paid for my engine build which is a 25/30 combo - $5400 inc labour - includes new pistons, linished and treated rods, complete head work with all new valve springs, guides etc

  22. on my rb25 i used to get it to stall when i put the clutch in for longer than a gearchange... was happening cos i wasnt running a bov... allowed to turbo to spin back the other way and it inst what the engine want, creates too much back pressure shuts down
  23. yeah the ignitor pack on a series 1 is a big brown sqaure looking thing.. ill try n find a pic but u def have a series 2 engine... looks the same as mine
  24. also look at the nuts on ur rear wheels i had this noise n when i went to take the wheels off i noticed i was driving with 2 nuts holding the rear wheel on 3 had snapped off
