  1. Cool. I just got the DVD. Found it in an chinese DVD store for like $2.50. GOLD!!!!!
  2. Well that’s a nice bold generalisation! Glad to see that your content with being dictated your terms of sale that is against the norm of modern internet business. Lets take it from another angle....... They are an internet based shopfront, there are f*ck all overheads A website, one or two employees..Thats about it. Lets think......With all the negative threads and discussions about nengun's turnaround times on multiple forums I wonder how many potential buyers decided against using nengun for this reason alone. I'm thinking heaps. Offset those customer potential sales against an outlay of stock of your top 100 selling items and I think Nengun would come out on top and the success rate of repeat business for nengun would greatly improve. I for one am sick of the nengun monopoly myth that if you wanna buy something from Asia you have to wait up to a month coz its bollocks. America is the only place where the standard package can take maybe up to 10 working days to deliver.
  3. My next question being....... Is a SAFC really worth it for the money. Will there be a majour difference between an "Average Power" tuned SAFC and a Stock ECU? (if I have a slit dump/front, cat and 10-12PSi boost) Cheers,
  4. More info please...Standard turbo? What boost was he running? What KW? Did he have any R&R issues? If not...why not? Cheers,
  5. Thanks for the help SK. Helpfull as always. After reading your post about "Which fuel pump to buy? last night I had also decided to crank up the standard pump to 13.8V. Saves $250.00. WooHoo!!! Your list above is pretty spot on to what I have figured out late last night after reading the answers to this thread but I am worried about the clutch.....I think it will let go very soon. Is the SAFC really that useless? I'm still stuck between two things. Tuned SAFC and new clutch OR Power FC and tune (with standard clutch that could be on its last legs) Perhaps I should aim for 180 - 190KW....

  7. Would love to get a PFC but my budget wont allow for it. I've only got about 2K to burn. From the above comments i come to this conclusion. Get a SAFC and tune it so it doesn't run as lean as a regular tune for a SAFC? OR Scrap the SAFC and just get a fuel cut defender? OR Don't bother and take the factory ECU to it's limits and spend the cash on a slit dump/front pipe? Thanks for your help guys... Sam
  8. I bought alot of parts through Japan eBay from private sellers. Until recently I raced RC cars pretty seriously and thats where about 15K went. That where i bought my chassis, motors etc etc so sorry I cant recommend any shops for full size car parts but i got heaps of links for RC shops. (something tells me your not interested inIn saying that, the product being sold does not matter...shipping is the same for all products. Do nengun offer an EMS tracking reference? I assume they do..so if you look at the order history I'm gonna take a stab at it and say that the original lodgement date will be only 2-4 days before it is recieved. So why did i take up to three weeks to get the item to a Japan post office? ....refer to previous post.
  9. I've purchased over $20K in car parts from Japan/Hong Kong/Singapore over the last 5 years and still have not been charged for cutoms/GST... I also know that shipping from Japan/China/Hong Kong only takes two days to get to Australia via normal EMS. If nengun are taking an average 3 weeks to get parts to you then it tells me one thing....they do not hold any stock...at all. It would seem that they recieve your order, source the product from their supplier(the 3 week delay) and then send it on. It makes me a bit nervous tha nengun don't have enough capital/overheads to hold any stock themselves ready to send out as soon as payment is recieved. All other asian shops I purcahse from I usually pay for on a Monday adn recieve the product on Wednesday or Thursday. To be honest they should only take payment once the product is in their hands ready to ship. Makes me think I should setup a shop over there and offer a quicker turnaround time
  10. Hey Guys, Had my line for about 6-8 months now. Got it from Japan stock as a rock (only cat back kakimoto and coilovers). I've put a pod and heat shield since then. It hasn't skipped a bit so far after 3 track days and plenty of spirited driving around town so I'm going to begin my power up project within the next couple of months. My aim is around 200-220 KW Shopping List Front Mount Intercooler Hi-Flow Cat Boost Controller @ 12PSi Volt Stabiliser Bosch Fuel Pump Clutch (Exedy H/D Organic kit) Apexi SAFC II and tune I'm hoping this well get me to the mark but please let me know if you think I've missed anything out or have out something that’s not necessary in. Do I also need a fuel cut defender? or with the SAFC bypass that..... Thanx in advance for your help.
  11. The X-Force (copycat Nismo) one is pretty good. Thick as any other strut out there (except maybe the Top secret ones) and well built. Looks alot stronger than the <$100 going around. Picked mine up for $120 with a brake cylinder stopper thingy which made the biggest difference for me.

    Tuners

They don't tune pfc's though. They got ROM-Tune.
  13. That would be the easiest way. Otherwise you would have to take apart the connector and not sure if it will go back together again. Just buy some stripping wires and strip away (if your not sure. I stripped mine with scissors). It's piss easy. Soldering it on will take about 5 seconds. Cover it in heat shrink or electrical tape and your away. I put a three way switch on mine.... Dick Smith Switch Mounted on the dash so I can switch it off when it's raining.
  14. What are the reasons why you wouldnt use the factory sensor? Better to have two readings than one? Stock sensor wont share with any other sensor? Cheers,
  15. There isn't much difference to fuel economy. Remeber, your accelerator pedal can also control the amount of boost. So unless you fang it 24\7, thre wont be much difference. If you do fang it everywhere...the difference is about 30KM's per tank

  18. Spotted a white R33 4 door cruising down wicks road yesterday Silver R33 GTST S2 turning right onto Ryde road from Victoria Road. Gave hime a flash (mmm, with lights). Got one back. Spot a grey 32 GTR parked on help street everyday. Sweet ride dude.
  19. Only the walls are riveted to each other. The mounts to to the engine bay and teh perspex lid are screws. To clean the pod all you have to do is remove two phillips head screws that hold the lid in place.
  20. I second the Mr-crust shield. It looks hot. Uses the existing snorkel and is cheap. Click me for sexy heat shield

    Wakefield CC

    From the album: Wakefield

    Turn 9 at Wakefield
  22. Mines is also underneath the steering wheel, behind the plastic facia/footwell - Cops and RTA have checked the car twice and did not find it. Note : Make sure you turn the car timer off at the same time you turn the car off so the cops don't wonder why your car is still running.
  23. Spotted "DHC" at Wakefield on Tueday, along with "BCNR33". Spotted myself about 10 seconds behind these guys
