  1. Cool. Hope to see you there. 1 sleep to go!!!
  2. DAMN I guess I shoulda stayed :
  3. It' steam. Your head gaskets gone/ Your oil will start milking up in alot more within the next 3 months
  4. What was the stock gauge doing before you did the mod?
  5. Hey Guys, Heading out to my first track day (no speed limit) at Wakefield next tuesday? Is anyone else on here coming along? I can't freaking wait to see what my stockish skyline can do. I have R33 Series 1 Skyline with 17 Work Rims Bridgestone 235 G3's on the front and Bridgestone (?)255's on the rear JID coil-overs with Japanese uber hard springs I'm really interested to see how these super hard jap springs perform on the track (perhaps I should keep of the ripples : ) I would consider myself a responsible novice and would love any help or advise from fellow lines heading out there as well. 4 sleeps to go!!!!!!!
  6. They came standard on the R33 series 2 40th(?) anniversary edition (97 i think) Regards,
  7. The only necessary one is "Oil Temp" (for track work that is)
  8. Mount your gauges in the din slot (if they are 52mm). RTA had no issues with mine there
  9. YAY...First spot. Anyway...spotted/chatted and ran with "AARON" in a Moroon 33 in North Ryde. Car sounded sweet 32 GTS-T crossing Victoria rd in Parra
  10. Telco for me. Telcco workers are lazy IT workers who couldn't be bothered getting qualified.
  11. Gauge Sold!!!! Thanks nismo_au. Spoiler still up for grabs. Surely some out there needs a new Series 1 brake (LED) light?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Would sell the brake light for $35.00
  12. The shock should already be at it's max length with no load (no tyre). Once the shock is fully extended then you should have a gap between the spring and the top of the shock. I don't think there should be any preload when there is no load on the shock. Sydney Kid...is that right?
  13. It works fine for me and I notice quite a difference. Try this. Get on a Freeway in 3rd gear. Get it on full boost at 3000RPM, then flick the switch. Sounds Crazy!!!
  14. Carbon drive shaft. Mines style
  15. Could be any of those three. I'd be leaning towards bag plugs. Have you turned up boost at all?
  16. Yes. Making sure you leave a cabin light on or headlight so to drain any power that may be lingering around. Sounds like your new ECU is faulty
  17. The gauge and the Fuel light work off two independant sensors. Also, coil overs (bumpy rides) play havoc with the Fuel level gauge mechanisim. It's pretty fragile
  18. Heaps of cars do that as well as Skylines (I thinks it's an asian thing)
  19. My best advise would be to put a switch on it so you can adjust on the fly and feel the difference. Purchase one of these It's pretty basic. There are 3 points. Make point 1 a ground, point 2 and 3 the wire that you already snipped. Feed it through to your dash and mount it on the dash (there is a good spot just below the clock). Looks really stealthy coz of the colour. An RTA defect inpsection didn't spot it after 40 mins on my car. There's some really good tutorials on how to dismantle your dash on here if you need some help on it. Sam
  20. Go second hand if you don't really care that much. I just replace my fronts with BridgeStone GIII's 17/40/235 for $30 each with 80% tread. Ring around and you should find something decent second hand.
  21. They are only illegal if they are functioning. So if you are able to quickly turn the turbo timer off via the menu when cops pull you over you should be fine.
