  2. I return 600KM per tank on freeway driving. All you need is a decent 02 sensor
  3. Grab a geat sheild or CAI box for that POD. Other than that. Welcome!!!!

  5. Here's a viewpoint you might wanna read before satisfying your rice addiction
  6. Spot a Yellow R34 GTT every morning on the way to work on Lane Cove road heading towards homebush Spotted a grey 32 GTR on pacific hwy chatswood heading northbound. Threw a wave...got one back Spoted a silver 350Z taking my car space this morning at Chatswood.
  7. I think that story is bulls#t. Today tonight ran the same story a month ago and all the servo's came back clean (most of them)
  8. Clean teh collar with a rag and make a marking on the collar (with a magic marker) so you know how much you turned the collar. ie you turned teh collar 1/4 of a revolution. Do the same for the opposite shock. It the car was level to begin with, it will be level once lowered more.
  9. Mine cuts out at 177K per hour
  10. You definitly have a case. That workshop witness is the clincher. Now...should you have had the car checked out? Faken ay. Does that mean you should wear the cost? No Way. Unfortunatly, the best chance to win is to fork out cash on expensive experienced lawyer. Abo Bob is on the right track....sound like he's got some contact and/or experience. Sam
  11. I've been using it since the first day it came out in Sydney. On my 15th tank about now. The car feels stronger, SUPER SMOOTH adn no signs of crap in the fuel lines. It really sperates itself on those 40 deg days (especially when I don't have any CAI). Meliage is about the same but with the extra reponsiveness and strenth aI still count that s being more "efficient" Extreme is all that is man!!!! (9/10) BTW. Did anyone watch that craptacular report on PULP last night? The were crapping on about PULP getting teh same milieage per tank than unleaded. The way I saw it was that more power for the same KM's is the definition of efficiency! Naomi Robson sucks balls. Bring back Jana Wendt Sam
  12. I get 400Km to a tank Fuel light come on with around 10L left in a RB25. If you fill up when the light comes on you'll get about 52-54L in. The fuel smell is a bit of a concern. The most common place for a fuel leak is right under the fuel filter (check up front and not back). The clamps on the hose/filter almost always cut into the hose if you don't take care. Also, look for a splash of petrol on the ground on startup. This same thing happened to me. If it's that then there is a DIY some where on this forum of how to change the filter/hose. Piss easy. Sam
  13. Exactly. It's a plate that goes on the bottom of the oil filter. Just Jap sell it for $30.00 (no plug intended)
  14. Looks like it's only suitable for a POD/FMIC combo. I'm assuming it go's where the stock SMIC go's?
  15. Clear copper it was. Thanks guys and Thanks Tosh
  16. Extreme is where it's at
  17. Here's the pic
  18. Ok we have a small issue There is no Red/Black/Wire combo. Coming out of my O2 sensore directly are 3 wires. Two white and one black From the plug to to teh ECU after the plug (about 10cm up) the wires change colour to Blue Clear with brown wire White with brown stripe WTF? It looks like mines been altered for whaever reason. Can someone please have a look at their sensor and tell me which wire on my O2 sensor wire combo corrosponds to the usual WHITE sensor wire please? I'm assuming that the connections haven't changed...only the wire colour. Here's a pic of what the femail plug running off my O2 sensor looks like (the clip is at the top) Thanx in advance Sam
  19. The nitro cars run on 30% Nitro.
  20. Only slightly cheaper. Decent Chassis : $600 Motors : $100 (racer usally stock anywhere from 3-20) ESC : $250 Transmittor : $400 Servo : $ 150 Batteries : $80.00 a pop (min 6 sets) and replaced every 4 months Chargers : $500 Power Supply : $200 Tools : $1500 Tyres : $100 a pop for around two meets Bodies : $50.00 The list go's on and on Thats why I gave it up...It's too expensive to race downunder. In the US and Hong Kong it's ten times cheaper as there are ten times more people doing it What i did love about it though was it taught me racing dynamics, car setup concepts. You learn all about Caster/Camber Anti-Dive-Anti-squat Roll Centres Spring set up Driving technique Downforce Patience All these things I have been able to translate to my recently purchased line. Lovin it. If anyone wants to buy a race chassis then PM me as I still have it around. It's a solid chassis which took me to two state titles (ACT). Details are below. I'm in Sydney. Team Xray - Factory Kit 05 There are only two purpose built tracks in Sydney. One in Windsor abd one in Moorebank(Liverpool)...the rest are just netball courts witb rope for lanes and stuff
  21. A race bred RC car will blow any Skyline away anyday. About two years ago at one of those fund days at Oran park they asked us to coem and present our cars for the kids and stuff. They had a drag match between a V8 Supercar and a RC Nitro down the straight. There were three races.....the V8 never got close.
  22. There's a newish track at Windsor (about 50mins from Ryde) where it's Indoor, proper track, 20Ft driver stand, pit lane, plently of power, tables and chairs, canteen and a hobby shop on site. They race only on Monday and Friday nights but every other time the track is open to the public. $10 will get you about 4 hours track time. It's the best track by far in Sydney. No Nitro allowed though http://www.auswidehobbies.com.au
