  1. VERRY ROUGH BOUNCE RIDE< LOOKS SICK THO tell me about it... My ride is sitting a little high at moment... Want to drop the height a bit but then i am gointg to smash up my bumpers etc going over drains!!!! Fact: V8 super cart ride height is higher than a standard road car height... It is just all of the body kits and other bits of plastic/carbomn fibre crap that make them look low! -- well this is what i am led to beleive
  2. Keen for rollin nother time... PM me the details....
  3. Brendan. What you running at the rear wheels on that thing? "I also have Bilstien Shocks in the 33, but with Lovell springs. Find that it's all good, but following someone with coilovers in the hills is a bit of a drag. The front is low enough but want the rear to sit lower, so i think i will send the rear springs to industrials and get them re set. then she might handle a little better, all in all the Bilstiens are great, not that hard(good for the family..........even tho i aint got one) but personal choice comes into it!!" In my personal oppinion, with the majority of the bumpy hill roads that i drive on, i would almost prefer stockies... so many people out there with susp set up way too harsh. Se for those smooth city/track roads and end up bouncing everywhere losing traction over the hills roads!
  4. You guys should check out the schetsenfest threads from the past few years... Classic reading...... Especially the pictures of the ROLEY PPOLEYS with floss strings stkicking a foot out of their crevices......Disturbing yet funny.. Especially Ashs's comments on the " feeder" boyfrend and the feeder link to the Wikipedia defenition of a feeder... Funny yet diusturbing stuff It is especially disturbing that peopple kept these photographs over a year from when it haooened.. hahhahah
  5. Sorry this comment was for doomsmachine not the other guy i quoted.
  6. NOboddy should have to go thorugh that much shhhhiite!!!!!! buy a registered bomb for 200 swap all plates and details numbers etc problem solvered.... Is a little wrong but when you think about it whats more wrong that or the revenue creation and oppression from the less fortunate that places such as regency and alot of the police inforce.
  7. Did you go to flinders like me (comp sys eng 2004)? Theres a couple of peopol on these forums from flidners eng. Saw a maroone R33 getting pulled over by plain clothes bike on cnr nrth and dequetevile terraxcw yesterday.. he didnt look happy
  8. I have got something similar that came on my strut bar. Only mine isnt bolted on to theside of the engine bay like yours..... didnt have any bolts handy and there were not any holes (and didnt want to go drilling willynilly). It seems to hold rather firmly and i dont have any brake fade which is good for when i get pressing pretty hard going downhill.
  9. Pee is not that bad ... Muddy scratched up paw prints over the top of a hot bonnet are the worsed! Its weird how they sort of shake their tails like a feather duster when they mark!
  10. I have one in my Gtst. With a PFC they fail intermittently (ie the Active lsd light next to the slip light near the tacko will light up-->mine seems to fail more often in hot weather). When they fail they go into open lock. If you stop the car and turn it back on the Active lsd light will go off (ie diff will be locked). Somebody told me that there was a fix for this where a wire is spliced and the problem is fixed.. although have not done a search. In the past (several months ago) i read all of the threads discussing this intermittent failure with the PFC installed and at that date there was no fix. Its not really much of a problem like all the the other people who have them we just put up with the intermittent failure every now and again..The other day i took my car out for a thrash and it did not fail at all. THe cool thing about this model R33 gtst that has this type of diff, is the slip light that lights up when the wheels are spinning excessively.. Coool for launching and when you hang round corners. The bad thing about this diff is that it is expensive and extremely hard to fix as i think it was MOANIE (if i remmber from some of the forums correctly) found out when hers/his broke. Fingers crossed mine isnt about to let go in that sort of way... it seems to feel pretty tight for now and its been through a bit in the past so i cant complain about its durability so far with about 200rwkw worth of power and 320 Nm of torque being delivered to the rear wheels through it.
  11. Can u PM the Details.... CHeers Chris
  12. Ive applied for quite a few mining/oil jobs around australia and overseas so could be anywhere in the coming months, which is cool. Also applied for a couple of consulting jobs around oz. Hope im somewhere where i can bring my car+get bigger turbo. Not really too kean on working in defence unless its in a fighter pilot type role which could be possible. Vange thats funny stuff!
  13. Potential employers with private jets (preferably decommisioned fighter jets) are encouraged to apply ....
  14. Anyone know of any potential employers: Im a bored Electrical Engineer, good with his hands, very logical/mechanically minded, will work hospitality (if have to --> but not in the future once the AWA's kick in or in any other field which is going to have its union abolished so the workers and smaller people are left at the whims of blood thirsty multinationals pushing down rates/standards of living/wages etc) --> resulting in increased gaps between the rich and poor (in case all you people were oblivious to what was going on). Would prefer racing/stunt/crazy driving job but will settle for race engineer/mechanic/tuning and maybe even GIGOLOING if worst comes to worst....... I just dont want to lose my baby car!!! Oh yeah.... and i have sort of lost my licnece (not from being a hoon --> just lost my wallet behind the couch somehwhere and it dissapeared) so jobs/employers have to be within riding range of nrth Adel.... (u dont need a licence to be a race car driver do you?)
  15. Saw a hot blonde chick ( i hope it was not one of those good from afar, but far from good situations) in a black 33 on melb street today. Looked pretty stocky apart from exhaust (the car not the girl). (Didnt have a FMIC --> Could have been non turbo and that would be a shame/waste).
  16. pics to [email protected] Could this be fitted to RB25? anyidea of what RPM will hit boost on RB25? specs? condition? how old? how many k's? Cheers... Chris..
  17. Must be costing big bickies to have the track just sitting there not being used and not bringing in any money (ie the drags must bring in a couple of grand minumum each weekend)...... is it just the timer board that they are fixing or is there a bit more to it?
  18. Have seen a gold 33 roaming about town a few times lately (havnt ever seen it in the past) --> is this that SECRET car? Sounds pretty worked.. Also saw a red 33 on hindley yesterday arvo that soundded pretty owrked..
  19. Wasnt me!!!! For one i wouldnt be stopping at lights out in that neck of the woods!!!!!! I would get highjackled! Hope my brother hasnt beeen driving my car when i have not been around !!!! Saw myself being a hoon on some deserted roads today out in the hills today (shocking weather though)
  20. Took my toy out for a drive for the first time since the midnight cruise some time back..... WOW.... Still feeling the adrenaline!...... Dont have any traction in 1st 2nd or 3rd which is a bit worrying but the good thing about a line is you just take your foot off the pedal and correct the steering a bit and it snaps rite back in line. (that is if you dont want to hold the slide heheheheheheh).... Anyone know if AIR is fixed and ready to run yet or do we still have to do the dodgy on the street?
  21. Stomach Wrenching and damn fast! Quite a bit quicker than any of our cruises ive ever been on.. Id love to get a hot lap in my car (maybe with some slicks) and then a hot lap in a v8 to compare differences!!!!... Ahhh one can only dream!! :sorcerer:
  22. BOUGHT MY CAR FROM rEDLINE AND I CANT SAY I HAVE HAD ANY PRBS WITH IT.... u DO PAY A LITTLE EXTRA FROM THEM BUT AT ELAST YOU KNOW YOUR GETTING A HALF DECENT CAR (MINE HAD THE AUCTION PAPERS AND STUFF COME ALONG WITH IT.... hAVNT HAD ANY PROBS AT ALL AND WHEN I GOT RAA CHECK THEY FIXED THE STUFF THAT WAS WRONG APART FROM MY REAR SPOILER LIGHT BECAUSE Icbf.
