Dont worry im not going to post the vid on the forums (way top flippin large and i dont want that sort of recognition if it is compressed and put online). Same happened to me only two bolts snapped. Enede up getting them drilled out and studs put in.. Also ended up getting my exhaust manifold redone as it had sheered the bolts due to distortion from the heat of the turbo... The labour which is the main cost is expensive.. Ie takes a good few hours! Just hard to get in there to wrok with not much room!

You need to get some 4 or 6 pot calipers! -- rip them off a write off 33 -- should fit rite on -- you wont beleive the diffference! You wont run out of brakes unless you push extremely hard. Anyone got some old plates off a write off 33 ? I have to get some interchangable # plates! hehhehhehe (just joking)

Had a ball in the red r33..... Got to do it again some time..... Hopefully my lsd wont fail agian (went into open lock - which made some of the corners a little interesting getting the power down around them) My bro was in the front seat (Red 33) and filmed most of the cruise (got some good footage on gorge rd of Ax53 in front of me pushing hard and shooting flames out the zorst. Had one close call (bit of understeer at one stage) but apart from that was an awesome run... One of the better ones i have been on. If eny one is interested in doing this again PM me with details -- (too much fun to miss) What happened to all you other guys on gorge rd????? ax53 and myself had to pull over and wait for five min?? Hope noboddy spun or became unstuck---- I ended up leaving the cruise at lobethal as i live in the hills. Cheers for having me on it....one of the best cruise that i have had in a car!!!!! Gotta get some radios boys and girls... make things easier in the future!!

It depends what state you are in? In SA driving while suspended is now jail time!!! (whidch is absolute buillshit!!!!) If i ever get caught for this shite again i will at least have a bit of fun on the chase! and get my ghaol times worth -- who knows may make some new contacts and alot of money!!!!!!. I have accidently been caught b4 when i ran out of demerit points acouple of years ago so i kept driving as i had no way of getting from parents vineyard to uni and work etc (bout 60k's) so i took the risk... Unfortunately after 5 of the 6 mnonth disqualification hit a beemer and did 10G's worth of damage to my car and about 2.5gs' to beemer. Mr plod came where i hance gave a fake name (originally went with my brothers but then put my fathers name down for insurance purposes --as my brother is younger and not inuseed to drive my ride. Unfortunatleyl mr plod did a licence check over the radio and found out i was not aged 57 like my father. He then mumbled something about liieng.... then i ended up talking my way out of it and drove away.. He did not have a clue who was behind the wheel. ANyway he enede up ringing home address next day and i admitted it. Went to court and got a 1750 dollar fine and no further disqual. I have since lost my licence due to a differnet matter (gluglug vroomvroom) and was warned along with all the other poor suckers that were in the same court hearing as me that if you drive while disqualified the punishment is gaol. They have since removed my right to appeal the decision (well at least this is what i have been told) due to the courts being sick of the amount of successful appeals that are lodged (in my circumstance i would be a shoe in for a suxsexful appeal). What happened to freeeeeeedom. Its like the issue if a tree falls in the woods and noboddy is around to hear it does it still make a sound? ie if you keep driving while disqual and noboddy finds out is it a crime? i mean are you affecting social cohesion and society if nothing goes wrong?. I think in SA the punishment far outweighs the crime and i cant see it as an adequatre measure to prevent disqual and unlicenced people from driving (look at the aboriginals they realise our laws dont mean shit and all we do is reap and destroy so they just do what ever they want!!!!) Something which i believe the SA governemnt is going to have to face a lot more of in the near future as they start making up redicualous laws that encroach on peoples freedom (ie hoon laws -- person may accidently spin the wheels with a high powered car (which wouldnt take much) in the wet with a noisy exhaust due to the car being modified and they could face themselves having to drop out of uni and become a bum due to mr plod being in the worng place at the wrong time confiscating their car and licence beacause he is in a shitty mood bcause he hasnt had a root for a month from the missus or any coffee. Just keep driving with someones id that looks like you (as long as you dont get pulled over for doing anything to rash you should be alright ) Either that or put your life on hold for a year and sit on the couch take lots of drugs and live off the governemtn.. If everyond did this they would soon stop taking peoples licences away as they would not be able to pay them all welfare!!! So many ways to battle an ever failing and worsening system all you need is the right numbers balls and brains (not $)

THats it.... nothing better than a heavy non turbo slug? Even if you tub it you still have 300 -400 kilos extra to contend with compared to a gtst. (On the other hand you will have 4wd which apart from a great launch gets pretty fricking boring after a while- ie no drift).. Dont buy a non turb skyline ie gts4 evenif it has been tubbed (lacking brakes and other goodies that come stock on the turbo models).. (you may be happy with it at first but down the track you will want something faster that you can play around with a little more... Get a gtst and bolt a huge tub on it --- sooooooo muich fun!!!!! Rotors can be alot of fun too but a biaaaaaatch to maintain!!!!!

Missed cruise beacsue of flat bat due to not driving my toy a lot any more... But burnt down the back way (through strath) to victa at bout 3:30 once we got it charged up. heheheheh. Had my mates drive my car (me driving for the windy stuff) hehheheh. Cruising victa around 4: 5:30 only saw one blue 32 skyline with p plates up. Then drove the back way home. Would have like d ot catch up with every one again... Oh well maybe next time. Some good picks.. DId anyone line up that viper? It would be good to see a worked line blow 2 tonnes of that thing away!

Sounds like a problem with your boost controller or your boost controller stepper motor which is the mechanical device that will control how much pressure etc. Try buying ableed valve for 20 bucks install that and disable your boost controller. Manually control your boost and see if it still happens. -- if still happening sounds like an actuator problem! Best of luck.. ps hope it does not cost you too much money. I have a problem with boost surge at the moment which i am trying to diagnose although could be an expensive excercise? -- might just replace my turbo and boost controler as it will save wasting money on stuffing around in the long run and i believe my problem to lie with these two items. Plus new bigger turbos are fun!!!!

The police could not be too happy about adelaides only legal drag strip being out of action for too long. You would think they/government might be able to contribute to get the place operational considering alot of young hoons would now be doing it on the roads!!!!! (where else are they going to go). I beleive it would greatly reduce the amount of street racing in the long term. Perhaps another way the gov can save lives on roads (besides buying another speed camera! -hehehehe) would be too build a couple of drag strips that are open to the public at very little cost. That way people could race in a controlled environment that is relatively safe and would keep them from doing it on the streets - as often. May be a little expensive at first to set up but then again in tradeoff how much is a life(s) worth? Surely it wouldnt cost too much to maintain a strip of road and a couple of safety marshalls -- charge 5 -10 bucks a run recover some of the costs.
