  1. Also any pictures of the doors and trims? Are all the window winding mechanisms etc complete? cheers
  2. If you end up parting out the seats let me know. cheers
  3. I think it was issue 46 in 2004 and it was the worked FJ20 pumping out 300 hp at rear wheels. It sold a couple of months back. The car was mint and had a lot of nice work done including front mount, bigger injectors, microtech, apexi turbo, fantasy manifold etc. It is also one of the feature cars on FJ20.com I hope the owner is alright....my thoughts go out to him. cheers
  4. No chance of any Dr30 front seats? cheers
  5. Welcome from a fellow DR30 owner. That car has certainly done the rounds since its appearance in HPI 18 months ago! I hope everything runs a bit smoother for you from now on. cheers Steve 1984 DR30 RS Turbo Coupe
  6. I know its a long shot but you dont have any DR30 coupe seats? cheers
  7. How many kms? Any interior shots? cheers
  8. No one has any ideas? Ok next question if anyone knows, what other model Nissan's would have interchangeable seat rails with a DR30...perhaps HR31 or anything else? cheers
  9. This is my fathers (67 year old) car. He is tempted by his first love (a GT40 replica) that he may be able to buy if he can sell his EVO 9. He is in no rush (the guy selling the GT40 is no rush either) so no silly offers. October 2005 Australian Delivered EVO 9 Performance Pack (Bilsteins and BBS rims). Paid $66,000 odd from Crows Nest Mitsubishi Silver No mods ever around 5200 kms As new. Rego till October 2007. Comes with plates EVO-09T (my fathers day pressie to him!) For a no fuss, no hassle, no haggle sale he will take $49800.00 firm. This is a very reasonable price for a car like this. If you wanted a one owner, low k EVO 9 that has never seen a modification at a massive discount to the new car price, here is your opportunity. If you are absolutely serious (i.e if you have $49800.00, insurance organised etc) let me know and I will PM his details. No tyre kickers, test pilots or time wasters. He loves the car and would not be selling it if this GT40 had not tempted him. Sorry for the rant but he does not want to be stuffed around. He has always traded his cars in previously so he is concerned about the horror stories you hear about being carjacked, cars being stolen on test drives or shortly after etc. It is also listed on EvolutionOz. here are some pics Dad took on Friday. Kms currently stand at 5117. cheers
  10. Any ideas if rails for a S13/s14/s15 Silvia would be the same as a DR30? cheers
  11. All good points there guys. Looks like I have been convinced to stay with the GTP's... As for the wheel centres, I will not be tracking this car. I have access to an EVO 9 for that purpose so ultimately the track regs are not really an issue. Speaking of wheel centres, they arrived yesterday. The centre fit the front perfectly and look great but I will need to get a couple of mm machined off two centres for the rear. Adrian, while you are here, check your PM about the lock nuts. cheers
  12. Depends if the wheel centres for the GTP's ever arrive....it looks terrible with those holes in the centre. Come to think of it I might get some centres machined up if they dont arrive.
  13. Yeah some Watanabes would be superb. I have Ben's email address, I might see if he wants to sell them.
  14. It is certainly hard to find a good one. Mine is not perfect (still sorting out some of the interior stuff) but bodywise and mechanically it is superb for a 23 year old car. Whilst it is never going to embarrass a newer Skyline it is certainly fun to drive and brings a smile to my face everytime...
  15. Thought I might post up some photos of the DR. I am waiting for the wheel centres to arrive from Canada...only place I could get them!
  16. That is Zapata's (Zeb) car. I owned it when it was first imported into Australia in 2002. It is advertised on SAU as well.
  17. As the original owner of this car I can tell you it was a nice machine. Free bump Zeb
  18. I am in Sydney and I am looking to buy 2 matching DR30 front seats or Recaro/Bride etc seats with R30 rails. PM me if you have anything. Prefer black or red in colour. cheers
  19. YEAR: 1984 MODEL: DR30 RS Turbo BODY TYPE: Coupe COLOUR: Silver cheers
  20. whereabouts are you located? Are they for a coupe or sedan? cheers
  21. We are definitely showing ours together, would nice to have George Fury's race car parked alongside to make a nice r30 menage au troir! Zeb doesnt seem to have posted lately so I am not sure of the status of his car. Regarding numbers of PNV's I know of yours, Zeb's (my old car) and one that was in SA. I reckon 3 confirmed is probably about right. Makes the numberplates (IOF-003) on my old car still seem valid. I was having the stereo put in my DR30 a month ago when apparently a policeman was in the in the car audio shop getting the radio's fixed on the policecar. The guys told me he saw my DR30 in the workshop and was blown away by the car. He couldnt believe there were any around and especially in the condition of mine. He wanted to buy it on the spot but the car audio guys said I probably wouldnt want to sell. They were right! I got some small dents paintlessly dent removed 2 weeks ago and it is looking great. I need to get the aircon regassed before summer as it gets pretty warm in the coupes due to the large glass area. I will PM you Dennis about that Skyline badge and I still need to find some matching DR30 front seats. There were some on yahoo in Japan but they sold pretty quickly and it would be a pain to import them anyways. I also have DR30XX plates on it now. I also managed to track down some missing wheel centres for my Volks on ebay from a guy in Vancouver. They should arrive in the next couple of weeks. Slowly but surely the car is getting to my fussy standards. I will try and post some updated photos of it in the next couple of weeks. BTW sorry for hijacking this post!
  22. Dennis are you thinking of selling, or only sell if the price is right ;-) What about Zapata's Paul Newman? That is white and it was for sale a little while back. Maybe someone could take that off his hands. see this post http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=118760&hl=
  23. I bought mine from a wanted ad on SAU. The thing is DR30's are rare and even rarer in decent condition. Also most seem to hold on to theirs for a while. I reckon with the resurgence in historic Group A racing in Australia, they will be even more popular for some of us older folk as we remember them racing in the mid 80's.
  24. Just wondering if you still have the front seats and whether you could post a photo of them. I am trying to get a matching pair of front seats for my DR30 and I think the seats in the HR30 coupe are the same or similar. cheers
  25. Sounds good Dennis when I get a bit less busy with work & the kids. Just by way of progress, I have replaced the centre console, sourced a new ashtray, lighter and socket and gearboot surround, all of which are now in. I ahave also found and out in a rear wiper motor and arm As for the rear parcel shelf I had another made up with 6 inch speakers and carpet trim. It fits flush with the rear window and a new cover was made up for the wiper motor. When I get a chance I will take some photos. As for the front end I put in an Alpine deck with iPod controller (iPod is hidden in the glovebox). Although obiviously not a period deck it slotted in nicely and is not over the top. The car came with Carizzero (I think that is how it is spelt) 5 inch speakers in the front doors which are reasonable. I still need to get matching front seats and then a retrim to bring it back to original glory. The trim itself is not too bad just the tops of the rear seats have faded and the front seats are not matched in design. This photo was taken before I bought the car. The boot area will also need some replacement trim and bits and pieces.
