  1. Thanks for all the info/suggestions guys. I will try them and let you know what the outcome is.. Cheers!
  2. Hey Sir-D Firstly thanks for the reply No the car doesn't stall at all.
  3. It started at engine load at first, I changed the spark plugs to iridium plugs since they were recommended to me by the dealer I purchased the car from. The miss started shortly after I got the 3 1/2 inch exhaust added and the bleed valve. It only happened at about > 5000RPM and the misses were very close together and continuous. Since then I have tried removing the bleed value and several other solutions such as changing the plugs back to standard platinum plugs. Also tried resetting the computer several times. Both of these solutions seemed to have helped in the short term but then the problem started shortly after once again. I have now noticed there is a miss once the car warms up at idle but it is very intermittent, it doesn't happen all the time and the idle RPM seems to vary and not stay at a constant. I've been wondering if it could be the mass air flow sensor? Is there a test to see if this component is faulty? Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Cheers
  4. Yeah sorry about asking in both forums guys, will stick to one in the future. Thanks for the advice. Oh yeah the dyno readout was 174rwkw so hopefully if I can lean it out I'll get a little bit more. Cheers
  5. Hey No I don't think I have a programmable ECU how would I be able to tell? Do R33 RB25DET's come with a programmable ECU or not? It's completely standard besides the mod's mentioned! Thanks for the advice by the way.
  6. Hey Guys, I have just had a new Extreme exhaust fitted with a stainless pod filter and a bleed value to increase the boost to 10PSI. I had it tested on a dyno and the air/fuel ratio was at about, just under 13 at idle and dropped off towards the end of the scale after the car produced it's maximum power to about 11. My question is, is this too lean or at a dangerous level to be running the car at? I have had people tell me it's fine then other people tell me they have herd of valve seals burning out at 12.5 and mine is at 13!!!!!!! Anyway just wondering and any info would be much appreciated. Cheers
