Well i enjoyed my r33 for 2 whole days before it overheated due to a bad water pump so the head gasket is shot no big stress as i have already purchased the tomei headgasket and ARP head studs. my mechanic says it could have gotten the rings as well so i think i am going to go ahead and pull them as well. my question is i am going to purchase a set of GTR rods from DRUZILLA on the forum to go with my weisco pistons but i was looking at the specs and it seems the rb26 rods are 2mm longer than the rb25. will this matter? this must be how the rb26 is a 2.6 becouse the bore is the same just 2mm longer rods. any help or advice is appreciated. thanks

what do you think a set of rb25 rods cryo froze would be good for as there is not a lot of resources for me to just pick up a set of gtr rods. unless you know someone that want to contribute to save the rb25 foundation. thanks alot

everyone is saying the rb25 is good to about 450WHP before it needs to be built, i am wondering what are the factory rods good to? and how much if i have them cryo froze while i am replacing the pistons and rings. thanks

i have finally reached the decision i am going to run the GT3076 looking for around 500HP but i am wanting to use the factory rb25det turbine section to keep things simple as far as exhaust wastegate and manifold as i cant find any info on a resonably priced tubular manifold here in the states. does anyone know if the rb35 turbine can be machined to fit the 3076. thanks alot
