  1. Go with you eyes open, take your mate, test drive it, ask questions, see what paperwork it has. As Iron Chef says , the kms won't be correct, they get a hair cut in japan or here. It is very cheap and it just doesn't look right, but have a look , but don't get roped in
  2. Had 1 in my GTS-T series 1. No probs at all with it. always ran good fuel. , removed the speed cut and raised the rev limit. It is still in it after 6 yrs .
  3. It was on the recommedation of one of Japan's best tuners. They use that in their cars
  4. Which gearbox you running. Have filled my getrag with redline shockproof heavy . takes alittle while to warmup, then great changes, though my gearbox has only 30,000ks on it
  5. Thanks for correcting my correction, ha. Still not sure about the bonnet. It's definitely the bonnet that was on it when it had it's little accident. You can see where they spray painter cut it in with the guard, which by the way needs to be repainted. The guard has been repainted and is covered in tiny bubbles. probably some silicone or other impurity in the spray booth.
  6. Zebra. Z tune is hugely different to any R34 in any spec. Z tune 1 was a racing machine. Z tune 2 was started in 2004 and finished development 5 yrs later. It used a detuned Z tune 1 motor putting out about 500ps. It used the GT500 block of 2.771 litres and all the Gt500 stuff . Carbon fibre body stiffing . The list goes on and on
  7. Hey mate. You may have to do another correction. I have a V Spec N1 R34 , Kristian has the V Spec II R34. V Spec don't have a carbon bonnet and also not sure about the V SpecII but mine doesn't get the clear coat over the paint. If anybody wants a great reference book get NISSAN GT-R. Supercar , born to race by dennis Gorodji.
  8. Yeah, lucky you added N1 otherwise Iron Chef and I would have come after you, ha
  9. Just Jap supplied and fitted my relocation kit on my GTR. very happy with it
  10. Just Jap have them. On a GTR they are a great thing , as you can get at the filter and any oil spillage doesn't burn onto the top of the front diff/ driveshafts
  11. Get the best traffic lawyer in Qld. You should get out of that fine. I don't know QLD rules but I would be surprised if after the lawyer sent a letter to your transport authority that is wasn't dropped. 2 cars in shot they must be after revenue like NSW . Remember if you just hand over the money and cop the suspension you might have trouble getting insurance etc.
  12. That's what we use when taking octane samples
  13. Amber glass bottles are needed and out of the sunlight.
  14. Hey Iron Chef, enjoyed your article
  15. I have heard Nissan Aus are now relaxing things a bit as they can see they are losing money on parts that they could be selling
  16. You will get a better car from Japan as long as you are happy for the right one to come up at auction and can wait for the formalities. Look at the threads of people who have used Iron Chef or other brokers on here and they are all happy
  17. I am using one at the present time while I am having some work done on my gtr. What a great little car. I think my son will get rid of his R33 gtst and get one for running around in. I am impressed, how are the 1500cc go compared to the 1400cc.
  18. no probs with mine. The only thing that happened when I put a new battery in was it changed mode , not language
  19. 2 pics in the rare skyline registery. pages 6 and 7
  20. They won't even be sad, ha. Well the eldest one did get the gts-t. The youngest can't drive a manual. lol
  21. I have told my sons to bury me in my N1. It's a keeper
  22. It's like any commodity. It's what people will pay for ,in this case a 10 yr old car. Really if you want one, doesn't matter if it's aust delivered or jap especially if it's rare and has full history
  23. They run rich with the standard computer and inlet and exhaust side. My son's gtst which was mine pulls from about 2500revs where my GTR needs about 5000 before things get interesting. happy driving mate
