  1. Well Roy. You showed what sort of idiot you are. If you have nothing constructive say don't say anything.
  2. Very observant ROY. I am a shire boy. About 7 yrs ago I brought a pristine 94 gtst 4door 5 speed manual form Steve and Darron at Just jap and they have serviced that car which my son now has . 202,000 ks later it still on it's original turbo . I now have a 2000 V Spec N1 with a genuine 28,000 ks which I got through them. I have always found them to be and honest and trustworthy company, which by the way as you know is a sponsor of this forum. I would guess that a large number of people has talked to them and had items for there cars sold to them from Just Jap. I don't work for them I work at the Caltex Now no matter what is said Targa is still a reliability rally/ time trial. espcially in the modern classes . The rules are there for a reason. you can rebuild , but you can't replace the major items, engine , gearbox, there is a number of tyres, etc.So if you don't have reliability you don't finish. Was that the reason a 5 speed gearbox was put in the car ,as they are stronger than the 6 speed. I am sure that if it had been noted on the entry forms and paperwork that this GTR R32 had a 5 speed they would not have been able to run. People complained about the Autech R32 in this forum. It was legally allowed by the organisers and scruiteneering had no problems with it or the numbers built, otherwise it would have not been able to start. How many of that spec Lambo's are in the world? Simple 1 car was legal, 1 car wasn't, because it didn't follow the rules Again well done to all the crews
  3. Well Marlin , what is it then. ?
  4. Phew, what a read. Let me get this straight. 1 car is legal though it is special and produced in limited numbers and cleared by the organisers as such and the other car has a 5 speed box , knowing that is illegal as the model didn't come with a 5 speed box. I think the moderators should have stepped in and stopped the shit flying around on hearsay and innuendo. Does not look good in this community of Nissan fans. Other than that congratulations to all the Nissan competitors in what is really a reliability trial.
  5. Thanks Chris. The MFD is in english at present , but I wanted to change the layout and not have it turn to Japanese and turn have the sensors off. I have all the log books for it but of course it's all in Japanese. I will have practice on it and see what I can do. Kim
  6. Just wanted to see if someone can steer me in the right direction for a translation of my MFP on my R34. Had a quick search here and Google. I have plenty of things in Japanese , so unless I get a japanese schoolgirl to sit next to me I may have problems. Sorry mod. I should have put this in discussions
  7. Save yourself a lot of time and money and heartache and get one of the guys here[ Iron Chef etc] to do it for you. I have just had a GTR bought , and shipped here and the compliance is just about done[ DOTARS and public servants taking their time]. I am lucky that I have a friend in the business. The amount of paperwork in Japan and here and shipping is enormous, so in the long run get somebody who does it for a living and only takes a small amount to get it for you.
  8. Just a quick note. Pitstop Books in Perth have released a new GTR book if anybody is interested
  9. Hey Gman. Where did you get the led tail lights from. Thanks
  10. Great buy and great colour. I am in a similar position. I have tracked it from the time I won it. I knew when it left Yokohama and watched the ship bringing it here. I saw the ship in Port Kembla , and I washed her and helped get her ready for quarantine. I have sat in her and started her up. She is now being complied which will only take a day or two as she is completely stock. Trouble is DOTARS are running about 10 to 14 days for the paperwork return and plate. It is now killing me and I am sick of my brother and friends calling me everyday for news. So I share your pain. Hope it all turns out well for y :Dou
  11. Thought I would send another after a resize
  12. I like it
  13. This my new baby. 2000 Vspec N1
  14. Racing fuel used by Formula 1 is so exotic and complex it has no comparison to normal production fuel. Shell Clyde used to make a special Daisy Hill blend for DJR's Ford Sierras and we made a special blend for Colin Bonds Turbo Alfa. It used special crudes and a once only run on one of our Reformers to produce . It was very expensive to make. In the 1.5 ltr Turbo days the fuels used were so special and toxic , special handling was used.
  15. Talk to a specialist traffic lawyer.
  16. Thanks N1 GTR. She is about 10 days away on the boat. She will be kept stock, maybe some exhaust mods, Not sure if A/C is in it or not, will have to get a loom if not but that is organised. Also the bonnet, if it isn't carbon I will get a proper V Spec one for it as well.Got lots of the documents for it
  17. Thanks mate. I know it is a Vspec N1 not an vspec2 N1. The 4 - in the last 5 numbers/ letters means it's a N1.
  18. Hey Bundy could you fast this please. Just for my files on my N1. thanks dude in advance. BNR34-006772 Sorry about the double up
