thismorning out of the blue my clutch pedal started to stick, it would flip back after a second or two
after a little driving it got worse, the clutch was engaging further down the stroke and the pedal wouldnt pop back out unless i pulled it with my feet
after leavbing it for a while and driving later on the pedal would go all the way in and only JUST engage the clutch at the last stretch, was having to force gears in, pedal wouldnt come out uinless i pulled it
left the car when i got home for 10 mins max, went to move it and the clutch pedal wont engage the clutch at all, therefore i cant put it in gear, i tried to force it into reverse and the car stalled
wats my problem :S ???
note: a few weeks ago i decided to try and lube up the pedal cos it had been squeaking when i pushed it
i used WD40 or some other similar lubricant/water dispersant. i think i used too much seeing as it all dripped down the pedal and just soaked into the carpet and i now have a nice slippy patch under the clutch lol. thought id let u know incase the WD40 might of done something ???
if u have an answer for me ill be eternally greatfull
