I was wondering if there are any wrekers in perth or something like that where i could pick up R32 GTR seats ? i wanna plop em in a GTS-T If so how much are they likely to cost, cos i know i could just get somer bucket seats for $300 or thereabouts. And also would they go straight onto GTS-T seat rails or would i need those aswell ?

haha too right, my mate has an RS liberty turbo with a nice big exhaust, he doesnt often speed but his exhaust is soo loud like a WRX that older members of the community always stare him down. and yeah lol i love when a bogan in a VL has a go at "shitty jap cars" especially skylines lol...shows just how much they know about theyre own beasts

I only got my Ps today so i guess a lot of people would automatically say im inexperienced and shit. well thats true, partially. I may be inexperienced but i like to at least think i can flow in traffic like any other driver. I do not however think i am a race car driver and go round round-abouts at 80kmph. And from my POV there are soo many poor drivers in perth. -people who cant make up theyre minds what speed they want to go so are one minute speeding and the next slamming on theyre breaks - ppl who go 10 below the given limit -people who are soo nice they decide that they will let other people onto the roundabout before them even if they have right of way - idiots who wont let you change lanes when your coming up to being stuck behind a bus. Instead of letting you in they fu$%ng speed up, assh*(es.. The list go's on. And as for the roads, theyre bad enough as they are but at least theyre doing something about it. Id say about 50% of perth is under road construction right now. which is curently a hassle but will be a positive in the end. basically i agree with you

well i seen lots of R33 for that price budget, but i like the 32 styling better, and theyre lighter so better if i decide to do the engine up. I passed my hazard perception test today so i got my P's . As for insurance, i have a quote of $2475 full compo which i can afford. fuel may or may not be an issue, i will have to wait and see. And yeh, every car needs serviced and fixed everynow and then, especially if its over 10 years old. And i also realise that a performance engine will cost more, which is why i will look for the best one in the first place. What you were saying before totoro is good, like get one with a steroe or mags to start off with or a body kit. If it had a body kit i wouold have to like it to buy it. But as for mags and a steroe, i will get it anyway and replace them later, i have a very specific idea of what i want in mind, and unless it was a show car chances are the steroe wont meet my requirements, plus i want white wheels, not too many cars have them . And to philita, i know you can get better cars probably but i really like the R32 looks and it has good power so im not just going for total power, i want to build up a nice show car possibly. until then im stuck in my mothers daewoo matiz Thnx for the tips fellas, ill kepp you updated

Well i am going for my Ps tommorow and i turn 18 in january. Thats when my parents are giving me 15k and im buying an R32 GTS-T, i might be a bit premeture already asking the kind of questions i am going to, but i want to have a good idea of what im going to do. Theres so many possibilities and different paths to take when modifying a car, it can be confusing for a first time owner like me. My basic plans are to first buy an alarm, and if there isnt already one an immobiliser. Then i am going to get an in car DVD system, some nic espeakers and 2 12" subs. I want the car to be black, I want nice 17" possibly 18" white wheels and i am going to paint the word "skyline" on the rear bumper white. I plan on getting full white/cream leather interior and i want the old R32 skyline logo on the headrests. I basically want to build a showcar and the performance mods come second. Although i have that basic idea of my plans i dont relaly know how to go about it. So if you have any suggestions on what to do first or anything like that i would greatly appreciate it. Any comments or ideas are welcome too.
