I got exact same problem as poster. Using DBA slotted rotors all round with bendix ultimates. Sometimes it's worse than others. Bt very embarrasing lol. Find it's not AS bad once heated up. And seem to be quieter in the wet. As a side note the guy did take the little plates out when he did my rears. Dunno if fronts are gone too but they're noiser. By the time u give it enough pressure to make the back brows kick in it's pastthe noisy window. I just try and brake late so I have to press harder. Can make you look like an idiot at times Though haha

dunno wat brand u have but i have defi, water temp is direct screw in into my greddy top rad pipe, oil temp and pressure direct screw into my sandwich plate from greddy oil filter relocation, so u at least need a sandwhich plate for that, if your water temp came with a little bit of pipe with a hole in it, you need to cut into your water hose and put it inbetween with cable ties or clamps, should all be in the kit, unless u went budget guages ?

yeh i had terrible axle tramp, would get it taking off in first or just going round corners/round abouts at speed, pineapples didnt work so i got coilovers, no problems since, well, still slight hint at hard launch in first, but still got subframe bushes waiting to go in so should eliminate all together, then my car might be too low, anyways its easy to put up with now coilovers ftw

im looking for ce28n's to fit a gtst, probs gunna be about 4k, or if i go for ssr type F same look, slightly cheaper, maybe ill find out whats lighter and get them, diddnt think any local shops can supply though :S ?

rocker cover gasket was replaced when i did my 100thoughsand k service, was leaking a bit before that, all good now, my mechanic rekons just a bit of air in the water system, has dissapeared today and water levels and temps still remaind fine, oh well, gone i guess haha, cheers for the input guys

thanks for the input, ill ask about it when i call, as i mentioned though, coolant levels were fine and water temp was ok (78 degrees) so hmmm :s confusing lol

RB20, std turbo, no engine work. oil filter relocation kit (no leaks, greddy) oil catch can (doesnt look to be leaking, also greddy) had my car in for its regular service (also had a radiator flush) and on the drive home i noticed some white smoke coming out from bonnet. Checked defi, water temp was fine, oil pressure looked fine, not lots of smoke, but enough for me to pull over to check it out. When i opened the bonnet what little smoke was there dissapated and no source was obvious. so i just continued driving home, watching temps and pressures the whole way. no more smoke appeared checked coolant and oil levels, both ok, oil is a little high, might be because of extra capacity of relocation kit though ? then tonight while driving along, under load i noticed a strange noise coming from the engine bay, seemed pretty close to me in the cab, sort of centrally located and sounded right behind the firewall. popped bonnet to have a listen, gave it a bit of throttle. the noise seemed to be coming from the rear of the block, i think from the head. from inside the car the noise sounded like a sort of gargling bubbling noise, like air being sucked though a water line or something (but increases with engine load), hard to describe. before the service i have started to notice some white smoke out exhaust on boost, thinking turbo oil seal, mechanic rekons so too. maybe im wrong and its the head ? would this explain the noise :S kinda worried, gunna call my mechanic first thing in morning lol any info for now would be great though

look like retrimmed 34gtr seats, or the east bear copies, could be wrong though p.s. pj who did the carbon fibre covering on some of your interior bits, is it fabric ontop ?

no mate, diff guages, gtr has torque instead of boost seeing as it has the triple guages in the din pocket. you need a Gtst one

not quit elike a stealth r33 wing, doesnt wrap around, looks more like an n1 gtr lip that is on a bit of a backwards angle, not sure where to source it from though soz. probs some jap tuning house or poss even a locally made custom. i would guess garage saurus, just a guess but :S

im buying rims soon and want to know wat size to go for, now i really want 18's cos it will look porn, but i plan on doing track work, should i go for 17's ? now i may only see the track 4-5 times a year and the drags a little bit more. are 18's gunna be any worse at all and if so enough to worry about it with the little bit of track work i will do ? my current 17's run 235/45 on the front and 255/40 on the rear i believe, if i go to 18's i assume it will drop to 35 and 40 profiles respectively. is this too low or should i not worry about it ? p.s. tyres i will be looking at are bridgestone adrenalin/potenza at the moment, havnt looked into that too much yet. rims will be either rays CE28ns or SSR type F's depending what i can get my hands on first and at the best price

yeh im gunna buy some new tyres, shitty bald china specs arent doing me any favours lol can get a set of adrenalins for about $1200
