Just wondering why my car (rb20det) makes no boost if i rev it in neutral ? just thinking about it, with the clutch pedal depressed, sitting still, its really the same as if i was driving with the clutch engaged at speed. The engine is still revving to a certain RPM, therefore consuming a certain amount of air (correct me if im wrong). so shouldn't the turbo be spooling ?

I been told 25 PSI in the tyres while I'm at drags. That about right ? cbf drag radials. I'm either gunna get some adrenalins or potenzas soon though. Should be better than the cheap crap on there now

nice, hmmm well im on my way to that already got 3" metal intake(best induction noise ever ), full zorst, brass button clutch. needa partition my intake though for cold air. gunna get injectors and pump soon with an ECU remap. Got pineapples set up for rear squat atm and i have ALL of the front and rear bushes, adjustable where available sitting in my room waiting for swaybars to arrive before i install them. tyres are 255's but shitty ones, i dont think ill put more than 13 psi through the turbs though. wait till i get a 25 turbo.

well I have a peak boost of 0.85 BAR which I think is 12.3 PSI ? Stock boost in rb20 is 12 psi. So no huge increase for me. Will have to attend next whoop as Wednesday and see how I go. Edit: boost reading is from my defi guage. ... Not my iPhone

Yeh I thought that was high. But I've already had a few surprises from this car so I'm thinking it's possibly got a chipped / tuned ECU Also brass button clutch may be helping my MPH

Yeh I can't really vouch for the accuracy seeing as ive never tested it against a real timed run. But I chose this app over about five similar ones due to several tests and reviews by different motoring blogs and others saying it's quite close to true. Within 0.1 on a 1/4 and +- 5% in power. And it does read consistent times I had three in a row. 14.62, 14.46, 14.42. Then changed launch style and got 14.01

managed a 14.01 with a 2.47 60 foot, 0 - 100 in 6.15...still more in it

thats what i thought, was expecting a 0 - 100 closer to 6 than i been getting. Having trouble launching with traction. very inconsistent. dunno weather to dump it on launch at a lower rpm or ease off the throttle at a higher rpm might also need some new tyres. ive had the same crappy no name ones on since i bought the car. keep putting off RE01's till i get new wheels >_>

Now I say test because I'm using an application on my iPhone to test this. I was expecting <14.3 but have been getting between 14.4 - 15.1 depending on launch. The reason i expected a certain time is due to a friend of mine getting a 14.4 i believe, in a bunky piece of shit s13 CA18 running like a brick who to all of my knowledge drives terribly. The application asks for certain parameters and I put my weight as the stock 1320kg + my 75kg + a tank of fuel 60kg = 1455kg which if incorrect will effect the outcome, does this weight sound about right ? also i think i could probably get faster because its listing my 60ft time on my best run of 14.42 as 2.57 sec, i understand that's quite high ? my question is should i expect a faster 1/4 mile with these mods: 3" turbo back exhaust 3inch stainless intake with pod FMIC never dyno'd but this application says 160rwkw on my best run also does that time sound unusual for the S13 ? Ill post graph of run if anyone is interested, also its called dynolicious if any of you want to check it out.

jsai our forum sponsors do them, look in the trader section for JS autos. then the R32 styling thread, but will cost $195 delivered to perth for Fibreglass. another company over east, empire aero do them, i found them on nissansilvia.com similar price. Today i found a perth company who is looking into making them but theyre not a huge priority right now. theyre actually a forum sponsor too so i believe if we show enough interest they may make it more of a priority. If i can get a rough count of how many people want them i will contact them and let them know about theyre potential lost sales
