time is limiting factor here with photos unfortunately, that and the fact it would be all black on black if I took something.. quite simple really... go to the rear wheel well of your car, you can see where the side skirt finishes, put your hand inside the wheel well right behind the skirt and you will feel this big black plastic cover that is open at the top.. you can stick your fingers into the hole it creates, then you realise you can bend it back and all of a sudden you notice all the dirt n crap it holds in it....

Anyone else get these with their cars ? It's literally a 2-3cm what seems to be smudge mark that is almost *scratching* for lack of a better word the window when you raise/lower it. I havent had time to pull the door card off and have a look at what might be causing it, my 2003 wrx sti had similar drama on the edge of its window close to the A pillar but only occured 2 weeks before I sold her, so I wasnt concerned with finding a solution. In this instance though, its starting to get annoying, considering I have a showroom condition car except for these lines that occur just past half on the window. Did a search and cant see anyone else experiencing it, but a lot of people dont notice it until I've had to point it out either..

hey guys, Giving the car a good ol' detail the other day and while I'm washing I get to the rear wheel wells, and notice at the back of the sideskirt where you would imagine a mudflap to located, that general area, there is a small black plastic cover/casing that seems to serve no purpose other than to hold up to the last 6months of driving worth of dirt / glass / bits n pieces of whatever you ever drive over and from wherever. I didnt try get under the car to remove it, but there seems to be no hole so it doesnt act as a drain, its literally just there for what seems to me, to catch dirt and make my cleaning job longer than what I had anticipated due to the amount of dirt that came out of it. Anyone able to shed some light on what this might actually be there for ? You can almost bend it 120degree's to try remove the dirt it holds, and it wont snap or break and will just go straight back to its original position also. Be interesting to see what other people say/ think or even knew if it was there..

the difference would be audible only, power wont change from this... the illusion of power being that of a slightly higher exhaust note is all **UNLESS** you had an aftermarket exhaust on and the resinator was actually restricting things... sounds stupid, but does happen on a lot of imports, last car I bought and brought over, pulled the resinator out, and it was a 3" pipe / resinator but on further inspection the 3" resinator was hollow and had a 2" resinator welded into it... hard to explain and i've lost the pics... in that instance removing it = more power I might be interested in trying this though, for $50 etc, you know when you stick it to these cars they get a little throaty, for purely wank factor little bit more of a throaty sound never hurt anyone
