Contact Nick Sommers regarding tuning a PFC......TasBoost on here (if I'm wrong, somebody correct me!) He is a wizz with them. That's all I need to say. Cheers, Greg.

How about getting Dr.Drift to remap the standard ECU? I know it's about $1300 but all factory Nissan goodies that have been mentioned get left alone! Cheers, Greg.

A little trick for the future. Get an Oxy set, get a flame with the acetelene, cover the pipe in soot, bring oxy into the flame and set it for cutting. Wave the flame over the soot, once the soot burns off, it's ready to work with. This method works well with solid rod and flat bar. Cheers, Greg.

Spank spank!!!! Loving that 2nd pic! I'm definately thinking the R34 Silver is the way to go! And as for the graphics, sorry to say, as good as I am, photoshop work is thing I leave to others! I'm just purely retarded at that stuff!
-
I'd kill for those rims! But the lower colour is a bit to bronze for my liking. Anybody got a sample of the R34 silver? The more people are playing with these colour combo's, the sooner I want to fix up the dent and scratches and get cracking with the spray gun! Cheers, Greg.

I'm going to talk to a mate of mine who works in a paint shop. I want to try and stay with a factory Nissan colour, just for sheer simplicity! I need a pale silver, prefer metallic. He owes me anyway, I did his FMIC pipework for him for nothing! Oh, my wife actually likes the white/yellow combo. Said it makes it look like a hot rod ('32 Hi-Boy paintjob!). Cheers, Greg.

Munkyboy - That is perfect! I wasn't thinking of a lighter silver than the bump strip but that works so well, in a factory kind of way! What silver did you use? Or it's just a colour from the chart? And it's Christmas! The roof rails were designed to carry tinsel, nothing else!! Stagecoach - As it is in Hobart, there is only 2 white Stags so being inconspicious is hard enough as it is!! I actually like the yellow/white combo up to the waistline, just not on my car! And I'm only going up to the bump strip for several reasons. Less prep work has to be done, less paint is needed, 'should' take less time because I'm not worrying about door handles etc. We can't have the car off the road for anymore than 24 hours at a time because of my wife's work (finds out every morning if she's working), so working a smaller area is much easier for the time factor. Thanks to everybody, but feel free to cut sick on the photochops! This could get interesting! Cheers, Greg.

Thanks Al, but yes, that's WAY too much like Panda for my liking. Needs to be a dark silver/light grey colour, no where as dark as the one you have done. Right concept though! And you can see why the 2 tone is addictive, yeah?? Cheers, Greg.

Thanks for the suggestions guys but not my cup of tea. Looking more towards the lightish gun metal grey on the R33's I think. The pics supplied should show why! Cheers, Greg.

Help ! Lost Key And No Spare
FelixTRX replied to exitSTAGEAright's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Our number is ground off our key, but it's in really good conditon so I'm just going to get some spares cut off the one we have. Also, there should be a 4 digit number printed or stamped on the lock barrels. Just get that and get a key cut from the code, instead of taking out the whole lock! Cheers, Greg. -
Ahem.......back on topic fella's!!!! I'm the one in trouble here! Was just thinking, the silver that's on the bump strip. How would the Stag look with that silver all over the bottom half of the car? Pearl White on top and Metallic Silver on the bottom. With a set of S15 rims. I'm liking the idea but worried it'll look like a big Suzuki Baleno wagon! Somebody PLEASE photochop it for me!! Cheers, Greg.

Can anybody photoshop a pic for me?? I'm retarded when it comes to graphics. Note my lack of avatar?? Cheers, Greg.

I'm a boilermaker / welder. Pretty busy at Incat workwise at the moment but if you need something welded (gates, exhaust piping etc), just ask. Can MIG aluminium and steel, have access to TIG for stainless, aluminium and steel. Hope I can help. Cheers, Greg.
-
Thanks for the info guys! I've got a 2 tone R31 wagon (white over grey) and love the look, and to me, the Stag's have a natural shape to pull off the 2 tone look, staying with the silver bump strip. I was thinking of R31 "Stormy Glow" in metallic, but how would metallic look with pearl white upper? Mixing metallic and pearl paints like that a bad idea? How about the metallic grey from the R33's? Would that look OK? I want to stay with Nissan factory paint for ease of colour matching. Cheers, Greg.

Hey all, This afternoon, my darling wife and I were driving around looking at blocks of land. Wait, it gets better! She got the Stag nose first into a driveway and decided to reverse out in a 3 point turn fashion, but went a bit too far and backed into a pile of gravel. Scraped the rear bar up, not terribly bad, so she tried again, and scraped the rear bar again, in a different spot this time! So, along with fixing this minor damage, there is some other damage below the bump strip in other spots, and trying to colour match pearl white is going to be neigh-on impossible for me to do at home, soooooooooooo I was thinking of going 2 tone, with some kind of silvery metallic grey on the bottom half. Can somebody please photochop a white S1 with the standard silver side strip and a 'gunmetal grey' (for a lack of better words) bottom half. I think it'll look good but if might look different in pictures than in my head. Cheers, Greg.

Snow mode takes off in 2nd, 'slips the clutch' to stop breaking traction. It's good for muddy grass etc. Power holds gears for longer. Well, that's what our S1 does! As for towbars, we want one too (only for general duties - box trailer) so if a group of us get together, we can get some made. Either that or I'm just going to make one myself! Cheers, Greg.
-
We have 3 seats in the back of our Stag, 2 boosters and one front facing cap. Plenty of room, Phil&Ted E3 and a stroller in the back, along with shopping, no rubbing issues on the wheels. We have the 3 mounting points in the rear of the roof with no need for extension straps. I've looked for these 3 mounts in the floor and can't find them in our S1 (had all the boot trim out when removing the Kenwood sat-nav system). They may be a S2 thing. Hope this helps. Cheers, Greg.

Got New Wheels So Old Ones For Sale.
FelixTRX replied to bluesky4me's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Damn!! If I had a way to get them to Hobart on the cheap, I'd be looking at these a LOT more closely! It's exactly what I'm after! GL with sale! Cheers, Greg. -
Well, if somebody has a set of 34GTT mags they want to upgrade from, I may be convinced, as long as we can get them to Hobart fairly cheaply. And as for the chrome comment, I'm the founding member of 'Team Anti-Chrome'!! That's why I was looking at the silver set! Cheers, Greg.

Hey all, Looking at this package (17" in silver, not chrome) for $899, but just wondering what size tyre is best for the Stagea (compared to the standard 16" tyres). http://www.tempetyres.com.au/pages.asp?ID=Concept+5 (EDIT ---- adding link helps, eh?!) I know there are tyre calcs around(somewhere!), but I also want to know if anybody else here has dealt with Tempe before, and what you thought of them. Cheers, Greg.

Sorry to ask a silly question but what do standard R32 GTST rims look like?
-
Honest to God, this has to be one of the best, meticulous build-up's I have ever seen, and on one of my favorite cars too!
-
Let me get some tissues for the clean up!

Can anybody post a pic of a standard duty tow bar (just for towing a 6x4 box trailer, nothing heavier). I'm a boilermaker so I can make my own towbar to legal specs but I need some ideas on how other have attached theirs. And if possible, what material has been used in the construction? Cheers, Greg.
