Guess im just getting used to the calibre of cars where i live that im forgeting that people can mod their cars wisely and get good times im just tired of the idiots here with bodykitted excels and commos (all over the place here) driving round with a stereo acting all king-ding-aling and yelling out the window at my "jap crap", trying to race me and sh*t Typical Bogans, i am truly getting sick of them (maybe i should move back to melbourne) RellikZephyr

  5. your going to have to commit a bit more money than that to this project a 1JZGTE is prob your best bang for buck engine and that will cost you $3000 for a front cut (giving you engine,gearbox and most things needed for conversion) then add labour a 2JZGTTE will cost more like $4500 for a front cut plus labour to install a SR20DET will cost not quite $3500 for front cut a VH45 (nissan V8) approx $2800, a 1UZFE (Toyota V8) around $2000 in fact you wont find a decent motor (front cut) for under $2000 then you gotta add the costs of puting it into you BMW so like i said your gonna have to be prepared to spend a little more than 1000 bucks, actually most of your budget will be taken up by the engine conversion sorry to be the messenger of bad news RellikZephyr
  6. i believe the G sensor is located under the centre console...somewhere...there and as for your error code 18 got some cutouts from the manual for ya a flowchart for the 18 error and the other pic i think is the pressure switch your asking about hope it helps RellikZephyr

  8. ok error code 8 is ABS Motor, Motor Relay or Curcuit error code 19 is ETS Motor, Motor Relay or Curcuit error code 20 is ETS solenoid or curcuit the attesa stuff starts on CH-57 (manual) or page 336 (acrobat) in the service manual i believe you NEED the ABS sensors for attesa to work (as it uses them to detect wheelspin) RellikZephyr Edit: Flowcharts from manual dunno if it will help

  10. did you add an extra wire to power the attesa computer when i installed my Microtech the 4wd wouldnt work and i tracked it down to...the std comp and attesa comp SHARE a power wire all i had to do was run an additional power wire to the attesa comp and all is sweet RellikZephyr EDIT: the bleeding procedure is in the manual Page CH-84 (manual page) or P363 (acrobat page) i have R32 manual if anyone wants

  12. even so is it CONFIRMED that its actually a VQ in the new gtr or some steroid fed hybrid? or some completely new engine? just cause its a 3.8L V6 doesnt mean its a bored out VQ actually speaking of which...Has any indepth specs been released on the new GTR?? are there any pics of the interior yet??   13. that (turbo) law also aplies to certain power/weight ratios so even some non-turbo skylines are banned to p-platers so becareful if your on P's RellikZephyr
  14. i use the Fuchs 10W-30 (full syn) love it good stuff i think for skylines you need a good full syn oil RellikZephyr
  15. point taken but doesnt mean i have to like it just a little unlucky they picked a car that looks similar to mine and part my fault for being to lazy to change to QLD plates i might go do that soon RellikZephyr
  16. Ronin has a decent idea there, quite a good engine that one gives oppurtunity to upgrade the WHOLE package not just the engine if you get the GO! you need the WOAH! RellikZephyr
